Didn't know that you need to stay near 85 kt to land and retard the throttle to idle near the last 10 sec. I always try to glide like a single-engine airplane and they all nearly crashed...

how do you like the asobo 737 max? graphic wise i find it under whelming and it, as well as the bugs has stopped me from trying to buy the new sim.

In 2024, on Xbox, you can't free look with the mouse. That's an extraordinary oversight, and literally game breaking.

the best part is that i paid 80 bucks for the same game but with sh*tty AI voices and fewer fps.

the major differences from the video seem to be only on the ground or close to the terrain where there are better shadows and microterrain details. Honestly this should have been a $15 paid update if not free, instead of a new game. I'm not buying this, especially with the state it is in. Which i new would happen, it's made by microsoft...

I don’t remember any trees on Barra. We watched a plane land and it took a vastly different angle to you.

It's truly impressive that you can't really instantly see the improvements they made graphically until you look a little closer and suddenly there are so many new details that just add to the immersion.

I'm impressed in this era of diminishing returns on graphics that 2024 looks that much better than 2020. There are so many games today that look basically the same as games 10 years ago.

Keep in mind these are during two different times of day and seasons.

In some aspect MSFS2020 look better.

MSFS 2020 update 2024

2024 looks very promissing, those new details are very awsome

... so from 2020 through to 2024 did they manage to fix one of the many (1,000,000) bugs that exist. Also, who is going to actually have the bandwidth to use this technology. No matter the PC, the bandwidth reqs to do this as intended are too cumbersome. Most can't even near max out 2020. This looks like they are trying to sell you the same game. Keep 2020 and wait and see. This is the way.

Just played the new one it's absolutely sucks, very disappointing. When you fly the jets in the new game they don't turn nearly as fast it's painfully slow so unrealistic I went back to playing the old one after an hour lol

I feel like msfs 2020 was way too vibrant for some reason, and they've fixed in in 24. Its still not done so just hoping they improve the airport models and other buildings.

Not how mine looks at all. All I see on 2024 is "Login Queue: too many users trying to connect at the same time".

Quick question from a non FS player looking to buy: I have a fairly powerful PC with 64 gig of ram and a Nvidia 3080 card but its not up to 2024 standards. Would I better better off getting the 2020 version to ensure a smooth flying experience? Thanks in advance.

IMHO, msfs2020 is already stunning. Sure it looks better on 2024, but it's not day and light. What I really like to see improved is controls integration and management. It's always the Achille heel of sim games.
