never do this this way, it will completely mess up your version of the game and you wont be able to acces multiplayer until you reinstall it, instead create a new mod in the launcher (a 2 minut youtube tutorial will tell you how), in the mod file create following folder system common/national_focus/ from the original game files copy all the focus trees you want to change and paste them here, modify the ones in the mod the same way our guy did in the video, once done you can also try doing the same thing for the countries events as a lot are also locked behind DLCs and might break the dlc focus tree
