Cambria is the quintessential coastal town of California. It's a small picturesque town along Route 1, with a memorable coastline and plenty of tourist spots. It seemed like one of the sleepy Californian footnotes in a Beach Boys song. There are magnificent views along the way. The road hugs the cliffs of the coast with twists and turns along the cliffs. The water is beautifully blue and clear. Nearby is the Elephant Seal Beach Reserve and the Hearst Castle at San Simeon. Ultimately, we love this little community and we look forward to our next visit.
