have you never heard of people sleeping at their offices? its quite normal with late nights or emergency appointments. She also may live above or below her office. she may be at home where her office is.

Lucifer never lies. He chooses to be honest under any circumstances as an admirable trait for the audience to warm up to him and get over our collective prejudice against the devil and forgive his not so admirable traits portrayed in the series. Some backstage context, initially he was going to speak in an American accent, but he came off as a jerk and everyone was worried people wouldn't warm up to him. One day he was rehearsing a scene and didn't bother to change his accent and the directors and producers present noticed his natural accent softened the jerkiness.

As the series progresses Dan slowly becomes more likeable

I loved this episode where Lucifer’s vulnerability peeks through. And although Chloe started off as basically a very serious character in the first episode who basically has no friends other than her daughter, she is talking to Lucifer as a friend and partner. It only gets better 😊

This is a pivotal episode in the show because we learn the true nature of Lucifer's love of Cool Ranch Puffs.

In the penthouse scene, when Lucifer tries to expose himself as prime merchandise to Chloe, the scene ends by showing Luifer his most vulnerable side. It is notable that this is the first time Chloe sees him this way. In her eyes, there is something more beneath that carefree playboy mask that Lucifer sells.

I imagine Lucifer hasn’t had too much quality time with children in Hell. (Or at least I _hope_ he hasn’t. This show isn’t supposed to be _that_ dark.) So it’s probably an unusual occurrence for him. Something he only deals with on vacations, like this one. And he mainly interacts with adults while up here as well. So, having a new child fan must be perplexing. 😂

Amenadiel is "slightly" angry with Lucifer because since his brother is "on vacation" on Earth, it's up to him to watch over hell. And he feels this is too humiliating job for an angel/warrior of his rank. 😂 In short, he doesn't want to do it anymore, so he tries to convince him by all means (and with poor results) to return to the underworld. It will be fun to see them interact.

It is a very good show. Extremely well written and performed. And there are multiple story lines or threads that are woven into an intricate tapestry which the larger picture of these interwoven story threads only appears later. So may I suggest you listen to the dialogue more carefully. You had the right idea a few times when you paused to comment. But most of the time your commentary was obscuring the dialogue. No one can both listen and talk at the same time, and do both of them well. I like your commentary, but it would serve your understanding and the audience better to pause when you feel the urge to comment. So many critical small details or funny one liners happen so fast in rapid succession that commenting while the show is running risks missing out on the experience.
