Your video is very informative and enjoyable :D Can I ask you something about the application process to Kyoto? At least in iUP I saw that if you pass the first screening, you have an interview. I know it's not yet time to worry about it especially since many dont pass the first screening but do you maybe know what the interview is about? Is it some kind of an examination like in UK? Hello sister 😊. I am from south asia india. I am planning for Kyoto IUP in Physics major. I will be applying in November. I have 94% in class 12th (maths-99, Physics-93, chemistry-92..) . I will be giving TOEFL IBT HOME, SAT , ACT. I have also done some robotics projects and social work😊. As for the subject requirements should i take all of Sat, Act ,Eju or any of the one will work? Hii, what facilities are you specifically thinking of? there are many libraries, canteens, tennis courts (tho you need to join a tennis circle), outdoor swimming pool. thinking of doing a campus tour in the autumn ☺️

Freshman is mostly in English but Japanese classes increase!

I am interested in the iup at kyoto and I wonder how hard is it to learn japanese parallelly with the course and how much time you need to spend studying (in general)? I'm sorry if these questions are too specific, thanks a lot for your videos, they're very helpful :)
Hi! It might depend on your major but maybe aim for a 41+. I think the language comes naturally once you get immersed in the environment so don't worry too much about it. 漢字 would definitely require some effort 🙌. let me know if there's any other questions you have!

Hii, I was really lucky because merit-based scholarship is awarded upon admission for my program. I guess for other programs it would need to be at least after the admission decisions come out

Hello! I am coming into Kyodai this spring semester as part of the KUINEP program, super excited! I am currently looking at dorms, and Hyakumanben is my first choice, but I am currently debating over Shigakuin vs Mizuki as my second choice. I would love a social/community feel, and I heard Mizuki RA's host events, but I am concerned about the older facilities and 100 yen showers. Shigakuin sounds good but is a bit far, and I am unsure how social it is (esp since I am a girl and it looks like the common areas are on the guy's floors? Not too sure about this info).
hiii im not quite sure what mizuki is like but shugakuin is very spacious. im not very familiar with shugakuin's layout, but indeed probably the common area isnt used often. people are generally very friendly and more social in classes so i wont worry too much~
