Dude ur good

I see that I look at things differently than the last comment. I’m 71, just started fly fishing and I love it. I didn’t get into this because I thought it would be easy, nor to catch more fish. For me there is something very artistic about watching a skilled fly fisherman as he works his magic seemingly bringing his line to life. I enjoyed watching as each of these students learned and improved. I know that learning is something I take pride in and it was obvious that they did as well. great video helped me alot

I took a number of years 'off' from fly-fishing to work, of all things! Getting back into it recently, I just haven't been able to find my mojo. I'm a very visual person, so images stick with me. I have to say that your analogy about the final part of the cast being like the motion of an idler arm on old-time locomotive wheels was gold! It was just what I needed to visualize on the forward part of the cast for a smooth, and long, completion! Thanks!

Exceptional video!

This is harder than it looks. Spent more than 300 on a combo and regretting it. I'm trying to catch fish not learn to how throw a rod out. Fly fishing is hard and expensive than other type of fishing. Why bother?

Really great tip about pushing out from your body on the forward cast. I have an issue coming across my chest and your tip makes sense to me and helped me out.
