Hi .o/
I'm Evie, aka Pk11 or Epicpkmn11, I don't really make videos much but occasionally I feel like making something so here's where it'll go! No real theme to this channel just whatever I feel like making lol.
UTAU covers are also posted to Niconico.

sorry, title's a lie it's actually a very good Apple watch
of course this has to be the one iPod (with a screen, iPod 5 onwards) that can't play videos... but it can play a literal slideshow!

OpenUtau cover of MystSaphyr's Retrospectre using Defoko. "kon pi tenpo pini" is in toki pona, in English it's roughly "spirit of the past". 2 uploads in 2 weeks?! I wanted to do a toki pona translation... so I made this! I'm not great at toki pona, so I decided to do Retrospectre, despite having already used it lol. I wanted to do a song I knew. ■ Original song, Lyrics, UST: MystSaphyr ■ Trans...

OpenUtau cover of jan Misali's ryuupekosi. I did it again! -and still not first lol- This one was really fun! The MIDI conversion wasn't too painful and I decided to use several different voicebanks this time so I got to pick which ones to do each song and some duets (or more) at points and the like. I also made a minor lyric change to one song, let's see if anyone notices ;P (bonus points if y...

OpenUtau cover of MystSaphyr's Retrospectre using Kasane Teto. An English song this time! OpenUtau cover of jan Misali's kijetesumikyoku using Kasane Teto. Back with another cover! I wasn't really planning on doing another cover song anytime soon, but then I saw jan Misali provided a MIDI and sheet music along with the stems on this song... And OpenUtau just added a native macOS version... ■ BGM/Lyrics/MIDI: jan Misali ■ USTX/Tuning/Mixing: Pk11 ■ Vocals: Kasane Teto ■ Original vide...

UTAU cover of jan Misali's kulupu jan tenpo using Kasane Teto and Sukone Tei. This is the first thing I've ever made in UTAU so don't be too mean! lol ^_^" I probably shoulda used a lower voice bank for jan Misali's vocals, but I really just wanted to try out using Teto so the duet section isn't as distinct as it should be but oh well. ■ BGM/Lyrics: jan Misali ■ UST/Tuning/Mixing: Pk11 ■ Vocals...

Amazing
Great Job PK11!
Would it be quicker if you place all the text in the same page, then click on anchor links to move downwards and reveal the next frame?
problem with that is it requires clicking, this is fully automatic
@@Pk11 since you said without the music, it will easily run on 20-30 fps, why don't you try play audio and each frame in different tabs? you could reload the audio and open another tab at the same time, maintaining the sync anyways, it's pretty cool managing to do this without frontend, the backend must be pretty complicated lol
@@slimecat647 The backend is: <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0.15; URL=2.html"> ;P it's all just static HTML pages, besides the code that generated them in the first place there is no frontend or backend code. Because of that there's just not really any way of maintaining sync, I tried using an for the video part so the audio can just play on the main page, but the speed of the video is entirely dependent on how quickly your browser can fetch the page off the server It's all really silly anyways as you could also play bad apple in pure HTML by just doing <video src="bad-apple.mp4">, but I thought it would be fun to make something as minimalistic as possible -- a way to play the video in basically literally any browser ever made
@@Pk11 oh i didn't see the first statement on the video. as an aspiring programmer who never interested in webdev, i never knew that you can just host a web with pure html. good to know firstly, i thought you have some sort of syncing in the background (even an fps drop the timing still near-perfect). so basically you hardcoded the timing and cutted the audio for each frame, since no other way to sync it with the audio pretty neat
My pc when I put the game in the background and try to play a video:

this is not the merit of html. just a python script
@@doge7831 you can literally see the get requests the browser is making on the right
bit late, but yeah like @lukasaey said the Python is doing nothing except hosting the pages, it's statically hosted by GitHub pages at bad-apple.xn--rck9c.xn--tckwe and you can also just open the files directly but iirc that broke the audio the pages _were_ generated using some Python, but that's like saying a DS homebrew isn't running on the DS it's actually running on GCC lol
sounds a lot better on 2x haha
You made your ds Japanese as well 😭😭😭

it's "o weka o _pana"_ also the ryuupekosi link goes to the other vocaloid cover of ryuupekosi you should change that
Oh huh, it seems to also be "o weka o pona" in jan Misali's video and sheet music... Not sure if that was an intentional change or just very consistent mistake lol And whoops, must've gotten that in my clipboard by accident lol, was listening to it around the time I was uploading this, fixed now

really nice! the minor lyric change is that popipo's telo laso kasi became a telo loje kasi?

A premium Bad Apple experience
Perhaps replace the audio file with a simulcast audio link?
I realized shortly after uploading that I could've easily used an <> for the video part and kept a single audio file running, though that ran into major sync issues since the frame timing is very inconsistent and heavily depends on your network speed. Really you could even just stick a <video> tag in and technically you've played Bad Apple!! using just HTML, but that's no fun. You could also use images instead of text, but again that doesn't seem as fun. My intent with this was less to make something at all practical and more to just have a bit of fun, particularly I wanted to play the entire video of Bad Apple!! using plaintext HTML with no scripting, the audio "working" was more of a bonus.
It's at least creative
Honestly the funniest part to me is that it’s running through Microsoft Edge on macOS 😂

I find it funny that Microsoft didn't bother to localise the word "Tab" into Japanese unlike the rest of the menu items.
