    I have been ogling this pattern for some time but it seemed rather complex. Thank you so much for demonstrating - I am useless with written instructions only. I swear I have sewing pattern dyslexia 😂

    May I ask how you like to create the wrist strap anchor? I’d like to use a D-ring as just fabric doesn’t look as nice to me as hardware. Really brilliant video series! Thank You! :)

    Question! Did you ever do a video on cutting your interfacing? I'm a bit confused an types of interfacing to use. I have SF101 and Peltex (super stiff stuff) and not sure if I need any other type? I've seen other videos where "headliner" is used... I'd love to see how you do it! Thanks!!

    Your slit reminded me of something I'd seen done on a quilt back. Before cutting it, iron on double sided light weight fusible interfacing, leaving the paper on the side not next to the fabric. Then cut. After turning inside out, remove the second paper and fuse the slit closed and attached to the body. Not only doesn't it shift, but you have no fraying.

  • @ssarge2

    do you wash your fabric first or is that not necessary since this is a wallet and not a blouse?

    • @Widespread-Panic
      @Widespread-Panic 5 лет назад

      If you're ever planning to wash it, you should preshrink your fabric. If you wash it, the fabric can shrink and alter the look of the wallet. OTOH, if you're not planning to wash it, you don't need to bother.
