Als deutscher Facharbeiter im bereich Asphalt muss ich sagen dass das eine Top Arbeit ist.
Well thank you from Canada 🇨🇦 🤝🏻
Nice pave brother. Love to see you running the old Puckett. In the right hands you can really get a great mat out of em
Great little paver for sure, I still use it to this day to lay down gravel. I’m a huge fan of my Mauldin, but I still love using my little Puckett when I can.
Screed guy is trash
I’ll keep trying harder 👍🏼.
Why don't you back the truck in to the paver
So that’s probably the number one question we get on our RUclips channel. For us we have just always used a skid steer to load with. We are very efficient with them and I love the agility that they offer. Plus we use them to put down the pads and clean up the mess anyways so they’re already in motion during a pave.
What kind of paver is that bro
2023 Mauldin 1560 custom painted, LED lights and decals
God bless you brother
God bless you too!
You saved a lot of hand work doing it that way. Not to much innovation in this industry I thought that was cool. You could’ve pulled that long outside strip with your old paver to keep it hot, but looks good. Not a criticism at all, it was just a thought.
Thank you 🤙🏻 I appreciate the feed back. Thanks for watching
I enjoy watching how other companies pave. I see you're a small outfit so it's a big job for your guys using little gear. I'm a paver operator for a huge company for nearly 20 years now. That tree situation bothered me, haha. I would have taken the second to last pull 3/4 of the way to the tree, picked up and sat down at the tree pull and pushed a truck up to the tree, put the truck down with enough room for him to drive out avoiding the tree, going into the lane where you left a pile. Then shut off the feeders to the left side of the screed (feeding mix as needed), turning left nearly 90 degrees before tree, finishing the pull without needing to feed the paver with a skid and requiring no handwork. If the PO fed too much, just straighten out into the lane, drop the screed and quickly drag out the pile with the right wing. Doing this will allow your roller access to the tree lane immediately and keep your joint nice and hot(just don't roll exposed edge), but more importantly, your ground guys happy since far less shoveling and raking.
I appreciate the feed back. You are correct, this is a larger scale paving project for us. I enjoy seeing your prospective and I’ll take the information back to the drawing board. Cheers. Thanks for watching.
what brand of work boots y'all rook sorry I met what you guys dirt aha

💪🏼💪🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Awesome video! Did the funeral home shut down business for almost 3 weeks or did they continue services with alternative parking for mourners?
Thank you so much! Great question. It actually didn’t close at all. We had the front entrance accessible in 72 hours after we started construction. Thankfully, they didn’t have any calls during the entire week wile we re landscaped the front. If they did, they had a side door they were able to use if necessary. All worked out great 👍🏼 Thanks for watching
I smash the thumbs up before watching the video, thats how good it is
That’s an amazing comment to get! Thank you so much! I appreciate the support 🤝🏻

It’s my pleasure to share! You aren’t stealing anything. If your taking something away from the video. It must mean your either learning something or being inspired. Either way I’m happy! Thanks for watching 🙏🏼

@@capitalasphalt your welcome 👍👍

Thank you 🙏🏼
Awsome video .. very informative thank you !
My pleasure, thanks for watching! 🤝🏻
These guys are my second favorite asphalt paving company, I love the music and energy of the guys, they really love what they do and they are really awesome at it
Thank you so much, I appreciate the support. I have to ask, who is your favourite?
Unpopular opinion but the international s series would be more reliable than both of these truck and a quarter of the price (I worked the concrete business for a few years and I started in a 4900 after I got my cdl, and it was more reliable than a kenworth t880)
I still do think they are good trucks
Interesting, good to know!
All of your trucks are beautiful and well kept
Thank you very much for the kind words. We appreciate our team and love trying to provide them with great equipment.
19MM?!
It’s a type of asphalt
Do you run the vibrator on the screen when using hot mix?
See you today fix my drive
Sorry I don’t understand?
great video nice to see u back!!
Hey, thanks! Great to be back. Our season starts April 22nd. I can’t wait to get things going! Thanks for watching dude 🤝🏻
@@capitalasphalt any new equinment this year?
Nothing overly exciting at the moment. We are supposed to get a new cat 255 track skid steer in black. So I’m excited to see that. Other than that, we have nothing planned at the moment, but of course that can change from day-to-day . Hopefully, we have a new paver in our hands next year. I’m working on something special.
@@capitalasphalt is that your first tracked skid steer?
No, we currently have 2. 257 & 259. We mainly use tires, but we do use tracks on our landscaping projects.
EXTREAMLY impressed with the quality of the videos ur pumping out!!!!!!!!! more more more!!
What an amazing compliment. Thank you so much. Means a lot, glad you enjoyed it. I really appreciate the support. More is on the way shortly! Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
How far in Ontario do you guys travel, do you ever do driveways in the Port hope/Cobourg area.
Unfortunately we only work in the Ottawa area. The project would have to be very large for us to travel.
Question- why do you load the paver with the skid steer and not dump strait out of the trunk?
It’s a great question. And it’s something we have asked often. Honestly, we have a certain level of comfortability having to paver loaded with a skid steer opposed to pushing trucks. Definitely not against pushing trucks, and at times I agree it’s certainly more efficient we tend to stick with what we are comfortable with. Plus the Mauldin 1560 can definitely handle it, but it’s more ideal to have a larger paver to push with. ( just my opinion)
Great work and great to see you guys back!!
Thank you so much! The video is from last year near the end of our season. But, I’ll have some more content soon as our season starts back up April 22nd and we should be paving by May 1st hopefully 🤞🏻. Thanks for watching

Hi Jimmy!! 👋🏻
That drone footage had me😵💫😵💫😵💫😂😂😂
Haha it’s pretty wild! Thanks for watching!
I know there not cheap to rent or buy but I run milling machine where I work have you ever thought about going that way instead of spending the time to rip everything out??
So the answer is definitely yes. Something I have considered. I think it’s in our future. Just not in the cards yet. I would love to add one to our fleet.
1.25 ton roller nice
$$?
$👎🏼
Great to finally meet you in person boss!
Likewise man! It was a pleasure 🤝🏻
I can’t even imagine how much this must have cost
It’s not a small amount of money, but most cars & vehicles now days cost more. Seems like a significant amount of money, but in relation to what you can buy for the same amount of money it’s really not as significant as you’d think.
