Horsepower = Plenty. Torque = More than plenty.
Thumbs down on dyno runs without telling the hp. RWHP on a stock 225 probably around 85.😛
225-235 cu.in. engine is usually around 100HP at the flywheel, stock. Add 2-bbl. and headers, figure 110-120 HP.
@@DeanMk1 I figure RWHp at around .73% of crank hp. Gross, the Super 6 was advertised as 155. My old 65 Barracuda slant with a Direct Connection mild cam and their aluminum 2bbl. Intake felt almost as strong as my 65 Dart with a 273 that was advertised at 180. I never had it on a dyno but thought it was probably around 125 net hp.
@@guylr7390 Wheel HP is 80% of flywheel HP through an auto tranny. 90% through a manual. The HP rating you gave is the old gross HP rating and often subject to a lot of optimism by manufacturers. The net HP rating for an engine in the 225-235 displacement range would be around 100 HP through a 1-bbl. carb. You're probably right about the HP rating of your Barracuda.
Too shaky, out of focus and poorly recorded. Didn't show how this gets set up to the shifter.
Wish I had an 833 in my demon. I’ll be watching eBay and other’s until the right deal comes along and funds allow.🤓
How much torgue
Well??? WTF???
How much power???
What model is the fork for these bellhousing
230whp at 13psi so far.
We use to use a nail to line up linkage.
What scattershield are you using?
Great! Scoured the net and no images of how the linkages are setup or whats what. Thanks!!!
Is that an overdrive? I hooked my linkage up and 3rd 4th is opposite when shifting
Sounds like your 3/4 plate in the shifter is backwards perhaps. On second thought, your lever on the trans is probably not installed correctly. Changing the orientation of the shifter lever at the trans allows you to change where gears are located, reverse included. You could make reverse left and down, rather than left and up by flipping the lever.
The overdrive A-833 was basically a gearset change to the existing A-833 transmission, which had been in production since 1964. By flipping the 3-4 shift lever 180 degrees, engineers were able to keep the direct-drive Fourth gear and substitute a set of 0.73:1 Overdrive gears in place of the normal Third gear, without changing the shifter pattern.
