This final boss to me was more epic than Dream Teams and this final boss theme is up there for one of the best final boss themes I’ve ever heard.

Fun fact: One of the attacks of Elder Shroob’s Second phase has her shooting out an energy ball that bounces off the UFOs from the top screen in which they come crashing down at the bros with you needing to use your hammer to knock them back at the Elder Shroob. This attack can be telegraphed via the energy ball’s effect on the UFOs, the saucers that are *BURNED* go for Mario and the ones that are *ELECTROCUTED* go for Luigi…. Take a WILD guess what this could be referencing to : )

This game really went from light hearted boss themes even for Mario & Luigi to... 'I'm gonna end the entire story of paperboy over there just to make sure you three are dead for good!' and the song portrays the swerve perfectly.

Mario’s 40th i am Replaying every Mario and Luigi Game AND GOING TO FINALLY FINISH THIS FUCKING GAME I NEVER HAD ANNOYINGLY BECAUSE MY FILE WAS ON FILE 2 AND I DIDNT REALIZE SO MAD

I was terrified of this game as a kid. My cousin had it, and I sometimes played it when I was at his house. I couldn't read any of the dialogue, because I was 6-8 and didn't know any english, but just what was on screen was scary to me. - The attack on Hollijolli Village, and abduction of its inhabitants. - The Koopa Cruiser being shut down with the emergency sirens blaring. - The toads being stuck to the trees, barely able to talk. - Toadiko panicking, then getting turned into a mushroom to silence her. - The adult Bros. getting abducted by brainwashed Hammer Bros.. - Yoob's existence as a beast, just meant to eradicate the inhabitants of Yoshi's Island. - Princess Peach being fed to Petey Piranha, in front of a stadium packed to the brim with audience members. - The completely ruined state Toad Town is left in, once you finally reach it. - And finally, the terrible, horrible monster that is Elder Princess Shroob's final form. It took me and my cousin 2 years to finally reach the end of the game, since we only played it when we were together. I remember multiple nights where I had trouble sleeping, because the stuff I had seen in this game weighed so heavily on my mind. I always liked playing the game with my cousin, and I don't think I would have been able to push through it on my own. Now over 15 years later, I still really enjoy Partners in Time, I would go as far as to say it's my favorite game in the series. I've replayed it countless times, I know a lot of the games dialogue by heart, and have done some of the most extreme challenge playthroughs. Partners in Time is incredibly important to me, and had a big impact on my childhood, and I will always be grateful for that <3

The Kingdom Hearts is strong with this one. Really, Yoko composed this like it was going into a KH game

I never understand why people hate this game it was my first mario and luigi game and managed to beat the main story but never managed to beat dry bowser all entry are good but there one game i never understand why alphadream made it bowser inside story remake like you could already play the og on the 3ds because of backward compability i will never understand this remake but the superstar saga one was a good call ngl remaking a game to be playable on the 3ds was good cause you could now play all mario and luigi game on the 3ds anyways can't wait for brothership WE ARE SO BACK

the first time I completed this game, I had no clue what was going on and decided to use the trio hammer when bowser had all the armor on and then I just got annihilated when he pulled out his hammer. such great times back in 2016 (that's when the game came out in USA)
