The 3 Fundamental Mistakes Project Manager Make
Old video, also from the style of course, but still on point! 💪🏻 Short & clear, perfect first introduction into the theory. And I really like your hand movements, which emphasized what you said, I will also do that more often 😄👍🏻
Thank you for commenting and watching. Yes, the video is no longer new, but still popular it seems 🙂
nice video..
😊expressive👌💐👍
Thank you for continuing to watch. I enjoyed my collaboration with FIA 😊
Great! I watched your class in my postgraduate on FIA in Brazil
Hey! Im wondering if i can be in a video of yours someday, I have some interesting stuff to say 😁
Useful Podcast, Thanks.
Thank you for letting us know. I'd love to hear what exactly you found useful. It will help us create content that remains relevant 😘
This sounds incredibly inauthentic and unnatural.
What's up with this trend of people always writing their "about" descriptions in this corny 3rd person perspective, when everyone knows that they wrote it themselves? It comes across in this "I wanna praise myself without people thinking I'm praising myself" kind of way. I have never understood this...
Great video!
Such a beautiful book! Just ordered a few extra copies from our local book store to share.
Thank you Sharon. Glad you were able to source the book locally 😀
Just ordered it!❤
Great news Brian. I hope you'll enjoy it 😊
Wise saying.
Thank you so much for sharing this Susanne. This is excellent. We need to pay attention to our emotions as they are messengers.
Thanks for sharing, Susanne 💕

Looking forward to reading this book!
More elaboration
How long does it usually take to complete a team charter? Would you say a day is enough or maybe separated into several days makes more sense?
I recommend you get the team together for a half day workshop. If more time is required you can get back together the following week.
Thank you!
I found your videos quite informative. Thank you.
You have a typo in item #4.
Thank you for your sharp observation. It should say "not clear about options & impact"
Some people have no capacity to understand due mental delaying and it is necessary to tell them straight in the face that there is no friendship or partenership. Who have similar experience and mental capacity can gather tugether. The key is to understand for yourself to leave when you are not wanted and stop communicating with somebody else.
Got the book!
Great! Let me know how you get on :-)
THANK YU VERY MUCH

Voice quality is poor in this video
Hopefully you can still hear it.I agree it could be better.
@@SusanneMadsen I find it hard to listen.
Thank you so much for this video! I’m currently taking PM courses with a goal to become licensed next year, and have been concerned about the stress level of the PM role. This video is a wonderful reminder that we can be in control. Thank you so much!
You're welcome Beth. Look after yourself!
Thank you for producing high quality and free content!
Thank you, busy with a management diploma. This overview came in handy :-)
Glad to hear it :-)
You should overlay a circle on your grid because most people have some of all or part of these traits. Really liked your presentation.
You're right that we're all a mix of these colours.
Amazing explanation.. Thanks
Super
Thank you for this video. I recently changed roles from a technical one to a business project manager. I struggle with being concise in writing and with speaking to the steering audience as I have a technical background where details are important. I think I am getting better with practice but sometimes I think I embarrass myself and lose their confidence.
I like white boards management process.
Thanks for the video!!!
You're welcome :-) There are more on my website www.susannemadsen.co.uk/videos.html
Wow, fantastic explanation 👏
Fantastic summation! Thank you.
Thank you so much. This is very clear and concise.

Thank you Susan, I’m a Management Senior Consultant about to facilitate the SteerCo with the Head of Global Operations from my client…this was helpful!
Glad to hear it. Good luck :)
Great video Susanne, so important to de-stress as a PM, especially as our teams are also facing additional stress during these times. There are plenty of great ways to do this and improving our EQ is key to success
I always struggle when there's a suggestion to put a number of how many risks or issues should be presented. Surely it should only be those that need escalation to the SC as the authority. If there are a lot more than that then you're in more of a bad situation and are probably in exception mode anyway.
Thank you for your comment. I agree that the number of risks & issues you present depend on the state of your project, however when I refer to the top 5 risks & issues it's to give an indication. The steering committee meeting is not the place to come with the entire risk register of 25 risks :-)
A slightly different (in my opinion, slightly more accurate) angle is not so much the upbringing as the fact that our personalities are largely determined by the time we are born, and we can look back to our childhood for the earliest examples of how we deal with the world. Our upbringing influences us, but our innate personalities are the foundation of our behavior. For example, though you were taught that hard work is a virtue as a child, the important thing is that you accepted that. Somebody who isn't as agreeable or conscientious would have had a different response.
Great views on what if
Excellent points, I am well connected, thanks 🙏
