Her voice is good. Soft. But I can't say same thing to her band. They were drowning out her voice.

Some of you guys don’t understand how projection works, and how singers can do it. Yes, some people cannot hit big notes but whether you have a soft voice or not you can project it. I can tell you what’s happening here. She nervous, and she holding back. She isn’t projecting her voice enough, and that’s why you can barely hear her. You hear this mostly on the chorus because when the big note comes, she reins in her voice instead of belting. Yes, Selena doesn’t have the biggest voice but singers can still project even if they sing softer or not.
