I had .5 upload speed for a few months and constantly called xfinity. A tech came to my house and ran some tests. He said my year old modem is shot., motorola MT8733...Xfinity customer support told me i needed 2,000 speed? 2000 speed I am not lying..This is utter BS..Anyway the tech and I compared my internet download and upload speeds with xfinity's.. My internet was .5 upload and 900 download and there xfinity wifi was 1.85 upload and 19% over 1000? I pay for 1000 speed.. I believe I was duped into getting an xfinity modem?...I hate xfinity and been with them for many many years and never have I heard of 2,000 speed? PS. My modem MT8733 gets well over 2000 speed also. I stream my tv and it constantly froze up. I bought tp link mesh and have 2 in my room far apart and 1 hooked up to my vsee v3 pro with ethernet cord. It still freezes here and there. Xfinity is my only carrier around my area. Xfinity is a POS.

I download the Android version on my phone and tablet but the app is just a dummy app as it doesn't do anything it just displays info on what it can do, but that's all.

I added tp link mesh unit to my modem and have 3 pods to help this issue. It still doesn't work? I believe it's Xfinity. I got the Xfinity modem with 1000 speed with 3 tp links. It STILL lags especially during hockey and football games? It's most definitely Xfinity. It's BS also. Xfinity forces Xfinity TV cable on you. It's all BS. There's no other cable company in my area. Shady company that constantly shove mobile service down your throat also.
