Fotografering Av Mitt Första Bok Omslag | Fujifilm GFX 50R

    Do you get high full speed continuous burst mode with this lens? When using H+ does the icon turn green or is it flashing white I'd like to get a this lens but high speed continuous is something I really need for what I'd use it for.

    @theoutsider has is right. This is gaslighting because that lens does not produce anywhere near the depth of field in the sample photos. The b-roll of the 110mm and 63mm lenses was shot with the 50 3.5... not so sure about anything else. If they were shot with the 50, it certainly had company in front of it or an artificial assist during post-production.

    I do not like: 1. The 50R is too expensive. 2. The RB67 lens adapter is very expensive and is hard to find. 3. The 50R was discontinued. It is now only available on the used market. 4. The 50R does not offer custom aspect ratio sizes. I need a 27x36mm 4:3 ratio. 5. The 33x44mm sensor size is too small. It is only slightly larger than the 24x36 full-frame sensor size.

      Why would you put slow and huge RB67 lenses on a sensor barely bigger than full frame? Fujifilm GFX is 4:3 ratio. An even bigger sensor would make it even more expensive. You didn't think this through.

    Hi, congratulations on the video, really helpful. I am really undecided whether to get the GFX 50R. I am mainly doing portrait photography, outdoors. I've always loved the look of the medium format and now that various models have come out, the 50R can be found used at really attractive prices. I currently have a Sony setup, which is very versatile, performs well as AF, but I feel it lacks a bit of the "magic" and the pleasure of shooting. In your opinion, could the GFX50R be a solution? As optics I would definitely want the equivalent of a 50mm, and I've seen some really beautiful images of the Mitakon 65 1.4...

    • @Kaizenoriginal
      @Kaizenoriginal Год назад

      If its magic your looking for the 50R is a no brainer! Go for the mitakon 65mm or 85mm and i assure you it will be great. I myself tried out sony, sold it after a couple of weeks because image quality was faaaaar to lacking. Cheers!

    • @caleidoo
      @caleidoo Месяц назад

      @@Kaizenoriginal That makes no sense. Current full frame sensors are better than this decade old medium format sensor. A 60MP Sony sensor has more dynamic range and less or the same amount of noise at high ISO. The only thing this sensor has going for it, is Fuji's color science, the slightly nicer bokeh on fast adapted glass and the form factor. But not image quality. It's great, but not "faaaaar better" than modern sensors. I shoot Nikon Z pro and have a 50s with the same sensor for personal work, I'm not making stuff up here.

  • @LolekBezBolkaShow
    @LolekBezBolkaShow Год назад

    The issue with a "jumpy autofocus" on the R6 may have something to do with the lens being adapted to a mirrorless body. I had this experience with an older Tamron lens when I was taking photos with it on my R6. Then I noticed a massive improvement when I attached a native RF 24-105mm F4 to that body. So it may not be so different from your experience on the Sony a7IV after all when a proper lens is used. It's unfortunate that to this day we still haven't seen support from the third party lens manufacturers due to Canon's politics, which ultimately influences people to think that the RF system autofocus is not as good as it is with Sony new cameras, because unlike with the E mount we often have to use adapted old DSLR EF lenses. Shame on you Canon 🤬

  • @BenjaminKanarek
    @BenjaminKanarek Год назад

    I have the iShoot lens collar for my Sigma 135mm f/1.8, and it takes a lot of stress off the body's flange. You need to drop the head to 90° for portrait shooting as it doesn't rotate. But other than that a must-have for this lens. Make sure you tighten it well to the lens!

    the camera has no "sensor shield" aka "shutter" because it is stupid to expose it. less than half a milimeter thick material or 2 -3 milimeter glass. Which is more resistant? That's right, the glass. Which is cheaper to repair? That's right, the glass.

    • @Kaizenoriginal

  • @SummersSnaps

    You're right, a lot of these issues could be addressed in a f/w update. Thing is tho, some of what you're talking about is user preference, I know some that would like it the way it is, for example always taking you to My Menu where hopefully you have configured all the frequent shortcuts you use and binded them here (because if it didn't take you here by default and instead left you in the place you were last in... then it might not be a very useful quick access menu!). But really a simple option in the menu to say 'Leave me in last place' On/Off or whatever would fix that for every user regardless of preference. And it sounds like other gripes you have would be sorted with a PASM style interface. I love that I can set up Custom Modes 1-7 on the XH2S and have that ability to toggle between even 2-3 modes that are very similar yet differ subtly that allows me to avoid having to do multiple button presses, menu dives or Q access and instead just turn the dial. Retro dials are cool n' all but can be low on functionality as essentially you're locked into a '1 custom mode experience', so changes can become annoying on the fly. Lucky man tho! I'd love a 50R! Stop whining! 😝😘

    imho, if more people can view photography as painting, which at its essence it genuinely is, they would open up a bit to less traditional expression, and intention with photography. Coming from manual focus and going to fast AF, I still intentionally offset focus from the actual point of interest at times, to achieve what I consider magic. Not always but enough. Then there are times I shot a bunch of frames of the same subject, and missed focus on a frame on accident, but go with that shot over 20 perfect focus shots, because again there can just be a feel to that image not present in the "perfect shots".
