Ein kleines Video für zwischendurch. Hier zu sehen ist ein Kegelsteller der Firma S.T.I. (Schmidt - Thomas - International). Die Maschine ist schon ein wenig älter.. wie alt genau, weiß ich leider nicht, ich denke aber an die 20 Jahre, wenn nicht sogar älter.
Nichts desto trotz funktioniert sie gut und macht in den meisten Fällen auch das was sie soll. 😁

DE: Heute mal wieder ein neues Video, nochmals auf der selben Bahn. Ich halte mich kurz, es werden wahrscheinlich die nächsten Monate auch wieder keine Videos kommen, da immernoch alles geschlossen ist... unter anderem auch mein Kegelverein. Entweder wird spontan etwas kommen oder... naja... Auf Instagram werde ich das dann ankündigen, wenn etwas neues kommt. ENG: Today again a new video, again...

Habe mal ein bisschen Spaß gehabt, auf der Bowlingbahn. Ich weiss... String Pinsetter sind nicht das gelbe vom Ei, machen aber, wie zu sehen, unglaublich Spaß. :) Außerdem gibt es leider, in meiner Gegend (Umkreis von ca. 50km), keine freifallenden Bahnen. Qualität ist anfangs leider nicht so gut, weil ich da auf die Pins gezoomt hatte... und naja, auf längere Distanz wirkt sich das dann nicht ...

Heute, nach Jahren, mal wieder ein Video von einer guten alten Mini-Bowlingbahn, der Firma Spellmann. Das Video wurde irgendwann im Sommer 2020 aufgenommen, also keine Sorge. Würde mich über eine Bewertung freuen (wenn man da überhaupt was bewerten kann lol...)

Does it still count as a 'messenger' if one of the strings takes out another pin (either by knocking the pin itself or by catching the said pin's string)?

@@ArmoredsoldierCZ .. I'm protesting by not bowling at places with strings and supporting houses with free fall like I have for the last 53 years. Currently in 3 leagues and various tournaments.
@@oiler62 weak, but i guess that works too. Enyways. Im gonna say this. Those owners that will want easier and cheap maintenance machine will change to string pins. Perhaps only those that will want to be unique or "royal" to free falls will stay. Just question is if parts for them will be produced tho. Because without spare parts its gonna mean complete end of them.
@@ArmoredsoldierCZ there's new state of the art freefall pinsetters that require less maintenance and use less power. As rich and dominant Bowlero is, they should invest in those instead of the arcade strings. The casual bowler and kiddie parties may not care but those of us who take the game a little more serious, freefall is the only way. Many in my leagues will quit bowling if they switch.
@@oiler62 im gonna be honest with you. As someone who bowled on strings since like 9 (im 22 now), i dont really see problems with them. And honestly, it was quite rare for string to take out a pin. Probably because the strings are long and move smoothly, so you dont have situations where pin is pulled away from another or seem to hang (if you know what i mean). But yea, i sadly dont know how it feels to play freefall bowling. Maybe you all are absolutely right all along. May i ask tho. Are you from America?

This one place I bowled at, was similar to this and there was a black screen that came down to hide the pin cycle, the black screen said: Qubica - Amf on the front. I threw a 201, 188, 267 ,ok for string pins 🤘

Also the thing is you don't have to worry about your bowling ball getting stuck with a pin blocking the ball return, you ever had to wait along time for your ball to come back after throwing it
These machines are better to work on then the others, you don't have to do much maintenance on them, we have a bowling alley here in Cedar rapids iowa that has string bowling, never been there yet but it looks like they reset better than the regular one

In my opinion, the strings interfere with the natural motion of the pins. I don't think this represents the same result you would see with free standing pins.

there is just so much pins that wouldn't have fallen cuz of the strings, there's no way the USBC would even consider this. Also wow, that's a split you'll probably only see on strings 8:22

I would 100% use this not for my bowling average, but to artificially set up difficult shots and trick shots all day.
The most annoying part of string pinsetters is the pins getting tangled up.

Ist der Kugelrücklauf.. Da ist eine Art Halterung befestigt, wenn dann also die Kugel in der Grube nach unten rollt, wird die auf der Halterung nach oben befördert und rollt zurück.
