How to access the contents earned by clearing impossible mode? I beat it and have the achievement, but when I enter the game I don't have the "bang-bang" glove and black armor.

Be extremely careful when saving. Make sure to wait for a bit to ensure there are NO ENEMIES. One of my save files is in a death loop cause it gets killed by a twitcher the moment the screen loads in.

If you don't mind being a little underhanded, there's a trick you can do with the pulse rifle to get a massive amount of credits which will allow you to spend your entire run swimming in ammo and healing items. Basically, use its secondary fire to put its ammo in your inventory, put a node in capacity to refill it's ammo, repeat until you use up all of the capacity slots, sell the pulse ammo which should give you more than enough to reset the pulse rifle nodes, and just rinse and repeat until you have enough. Good way to save a run if RNG is being particularly cruel with item drops.

Line gun traps on an object if you’re able to prep for scripted fights is also extremely useful. The damage from the line gun trap is honestly absurd when paired with kinesis.

I'm currently doing new game plus and going for plasma only and just collecting nodes, buying nodes to max upgrade my weapons and storing all ammo and health then ill go into impossible mode and I'll be well equipped

Not trying to be a dick here man but I disliked the video because you don’t get to the point and talk about actual tips and tricks, we don’t want to see the suit and finger we want actual tips and tricks to beat impossible. You gotta tighten up your script man.

I decided to be a psycho and am doing my impossible run and plasma cutter only run at the same time, and a benefit I'm finding is that I almost never have to worry about ammo as its the only ammo that drops. Another, I only have 2 things to divvy up my power nodes between, so stuff upgrades much quicker.

I run the ripper as my main force gun to horde ammo and sell and line gun for the triple laser trap attached to a box and carry it you clear everything no diff even brutes

I could probably have done the impossible mode day 1 since I died very little in hard mode and it was basically just to the medical area where you have to turn the light off, some of the tentacles because I tried using a flamer, and once to the leviathan. Should be easy by focusing mainly on the plasma cutter and armor, with either the force gun for the gravity well or flamethrower for the firewall+stasis

Easiest way is just to play on Hard from start to finish to hone your combat skill and to make note of the enviromental hazards. Just put in the hours, getting tips from youtube wont be helpful as much.

Do you have to beat impossible mode on a fresh play through or can you do it on new game plus for hand gun

I did impossible on my first ever play through of Dead space 1 it was one hell of a ride but I managed to not die somehow, got super close in the boss fight against the Leviathan tho

The foam finger is a 1 hit kill on everything lol, no need to sit there and spam it lmao

Got any tips for Plasma only impossible runs? I ended up dying twice. Once in chapter 2 caused of miss timing with the centrifuge and another to a gangbang in engine room.

Nice i added for my Arsenal also flame thrower. Because the fire wall instantly kills the guardians. Is crazy how useful it is for that.

Kind of a shame that there aren't any fully armored level 5 suit alternative outfits for the engineering rig.
