Christmas Bloody Christmas is so underrated. No original Black Christmas, or Terrifier 3, but a damn serviceable seasonal horror film

Ya know... I can kinda see what he's saying but that's also kinda what I love about the movie.

Currently, my ranking is... 1. Terrifier 2 2. Terrifier 3 3. Terrifier All Hallows Eve didn't do anything for me. The Terrifier short film is brutal, and I haven't seen The 9th Circle, but no David Howard Thornton is a major drawback.

My one gripe with Terrifier 3 is how Jonathan was handled. His screen time lacks in general, considering how important he was in Terrifier 2, and then he doesn't even get killed onscreen, which woulda been more impactful. Otherwise, Terrifier 3 is flawless IMO.

I've been meaning to rank these for a while considering this is my all time favourite movie franchise. I do enjoy all of these movies in one way or another so it's quite difficult for me to rank 9. AVPR - Very dark movie, and I don't mean in tone. Still, credit to the director for giving everyone a chance to be a victim 8. Covenant - Not much to say about this one except parts of it are very forgettable. Michael Fassbender as David still nails it though. Definitely the best addition to the newer films 7. AvP - The PG rating really hurt this movie and the unrated directors cut with the CGI blood makes it far worse 6. Prometheus - Is a much better film if you don't see it as an Alien film, which it wasn't supposed to be to begin with. Can't forgive how dumb Charlize Theron's death was though 5. Resurrection - Probably shouldn't have brought Ripley back, but I see this as more of a mindless popcorn flick than anything else. Makes it way easier to watch 4. Romulus - Great premise but falls off a cliff by the 3rd act. Would be in my top 3 if it wasn't for the unnecessary callbacks to better films 3. Alien 3 - Honestly, I think it could be a cult classic. Yes it's very bleak and yeah they killed of Hicks and Newt, but hear me out. Would you rather her dead or on this planet full of m*rderers and r*pists? 2. Aliens - Admittedly this could also replace number 1 but it depends on my mood. Fantastic cast of actors and solid sequel all round. It was the 1st Alien movie I watched at the age of 8 with my parents (who ironically put it on to get me to go to bed). Made me a lifelong fan 1. Alien - I would consider this the greatest horror movie ever made. Solid cast and the horror and effects still holds up 45 years later. Took an ex to watch it on our 2nd date and she hid behind me during the chestburster scene Had to censor some words. Thanks RUclips (fkn commies)

I still prefer Terrifier 2, but Terrifier 3 has the potential to usurp the top spot one day.

Silent Night Deadly Night is not as cheesy or hokey as it has a reputation of being. I think it does an excellent job as a character study of someone so wrought with trauma throughout his life that he cannot help but snap one day.

Terrifier 3, Silent Night Deadly Night, and Silent Night are my favorite Santa horror flicks.

I've never seen Santa's Slay, so I can't give an honest assessment of this film.

Christmas Evil was pretty forgettable IMO. I really can't say more than that, because I don't remember much about it.

Because people who give Home Alone 1 star don't have normal names. Their parents hated them.🎃

I actually just watched Christmas Bloody Christmas for the first time on Christmas Eve; it was fun, and I'd probably watch it again next holiday season.

I just watched the movie ..yeah the movie is horrible...the acting is horrible particularly the female lead ...she isn't convincing at all .At the half point of this movie ...i was watching for it to end....i didn't get anything from this movie ...unlike great movies released this year ...Smile 2 or the Substance...nowhere near those movies.

ngl I feel like if these movies came out today, ppl wouldn’t like them as much like if home alone came out in 2024, it would just get the mediocre treatment Im probably wrong but just a thought

Watched Christmas vacation for the first time today not many people in the UK bring it up around this holiday or maybe it’s just my circle but damn it’s a new annual watch for me it was hilarious

Home Alone 1 and 2, Bad Santa 1 and 2, Jingle All The Way, Harold and Kumar Christmas, Christmas Vacation, How The Grinch Stole Christmas (original cartoon and Jim Carrey version) are my favorite Christmas movies.

I completely agree with you about the 2012 Silent night, however that woodchipper kill is amazing.

I saw the first PA in theaters and was young enough to think because the actors first name and characters name were the same that it was a true story. The ending was so terrifying to me.

My list here would be different, but honestly... controversial as it may be, I really didn't like any of these movies much. I've never had a second viewing of any of them. Robo-santa was done well but I hated the movie, Slay was terrible in my mind (my number 5), and that remake... Anyway still loved the video even though I hated pretty much all five movies. Worth the watch for the Jason mask in the Santa hat and the commentary. Merry Christmas.
