Tutorial: How to Make a Drawstring Bag
Really enjoyed your video. Off to make a bear now! Thank you xxx
Thank you. I made this bear years ago but lost my directions. You made it so much easier. Thanks
Thank you so much for doing this… i bought this pattern and I am also a beginner in the craft. And was totally lost and in a hopeful wish i put the number online and here i am … thank so much. For the video
Brilliant I learned a lot very clear instructions thank you Gurdip uk
Thank you! My mom passed away and I bought this pattern to make some memory bears with her t-shirts. This video is soooo helpful, even 6 years after you first posted it. Feeling confident I won't make a huge mess of it now. :)
Great tutorial, but I really wanted to see how you sew the foot area?I find the instructions confusing 😮
The Nascar noise made me jump lol!
Is there a way I can ask you specific questions? For instance, on the dog pattern, which I assume is almost identical, it says step 3, sew 1/2". I sewed the two front pieces together there, but after sewing the rest later, this interferes so I assume I need to undo the part where I stitched them together. Also it says to sew the darts on the hind foot on the front, but not the back. So when do I see the darts on the back? And how do I sew the front to the back at the crotch? I have photos and videos but don't know how to send them to you.
Very detailed. Thank you. Do you have any videos showing a more defined snout for the bears? Do you by any chance have videos on making your own patterns? Like for instance if you see a dress or shirt you like and want to copy it, or alter it to suit you better?
Thank you so much! You confirmed what I suspected- the darts in the foot should absolutely be done prior to stitching the perimeter . The pattern specifically tell you to stich the foot dart after the rest of the seams. I've been sewing for most of my 65 years, that just didn't make sense to me.
Sew simple tx
I just bought this pattern. Did you interface the material?
What size safety eyes and nose do you use?
wish i had seen this video before i made my bear! now going to make 2 more bears(one in fur fabric)
New at using sewing machine like to make the bears for my grandkids out of my husband favorite clothes and advice for me
Thank you so much for this video! It was my first time using a pattern and I’d have been clueless without watching this. I’ve managed to make a lovely bear for my new niece 😊
Thank you so much for doing these videos. I don’t think I would have understood how to make these without watching. I couldn’t really understand the instruction sheet that came with the patterns, I would most likely have continued to make mistakes and then given up trying in frustration. You have been a service to Simplicity, thank you. I will look forward to watching your other videos. 😊
Thank you! I bought this pattern today! Can’t wait to try this xx
Made the bunny video was very helpful 👍
I made the dog but his back side i know is wrong. Can you help please.
Thank you for this. I'm only part way through but it's really helped me understand the instructions. It's the first plush I've made and it didn't make a lot of sense at first, seeing it done is fantastic. I agree the sound effects are pretty loud but the content otherwise is amazing.
Where do u buy the eyes, nose? What size is good?
Hoping with your videos and guidence i can attempt to make one. Im a new to sewing so hoping im not out of my depth.
I am a very visual person and this video helped so much! One of my friends lost her young daughter recently and I am making her the bear in remembrance for her. So thank you so much for the instruction so it comes out perfect.
I have the pattern, I have the fabric, I'll try with your video ❤
Brilliant 😁 I'm feeling really confident now about following my first Pattern.
hola donde está el molde gracias😮😮😮
Thank you for this tutorial video, it helped me allot. I completed my first memory bear. X
Why have you stopped making videos?
I have the same project waiting for me but I keep putting it off
Do you honesty think that looks like a bear? Goodness me, it’s eyes are miles apart. I would google what a bear should look like!
How rude! She is following the pattern.
Do you honestly think that looks like a bear? Goodness me. I would goggle what a bear should look like.
Thank you!
Thank you so much for your video, I have this pattern, and watching your video has given me the confidence to give it a go, I have never made anything like this before and i looked at the pattern, and just didn't know where to start, but now I do , thanks for sharing your talent👍
What size for safety eyes and nose?
Did you do a video on how to sew the dog pattern from simplicity 8044
I'm a beginner, and I just purchased this pattern to make my twin nieces a bear. I think I'll be able to follow your video to make that bear which is C on the pattern. Wish me luck!
I am so grateful for you. Im sewing a bear for my Uncles Celebration of life and im intimidated by it so this takes so much stress off my shoulders because it’s much easier to understand! Thx you so much!!!!
I had no idea what to do with the tail at the butt of the, this video was a big help. Thank you
Thank you!!! Very educational. I love your channel and very surprised you don’t have a larger following. More content please! I’m looking to start making cloaks. I’ve been studying shows to see how I want to make mine. I’m in love with the old school feminine cloaks with the fur in the hood and around the neckline.
Bought this pattern as a total beginner and didnt understand most of it. Then I found you and I'm so happy now made bear and rabbit and found it so easy to finally do so thank you so much.
I am working on this bear at this moment, I’m so glad I found your video. Can’t wait to see more videos
Thank you so much watching this and the rabbit has helped me so much. I have never used a pattern before so it was lovely of you to show us how to make them. Being a newbey was scary when i 1st opened the pattern 🙈. But I have now made my 1st rabbit thanks to your video. Thanks again 🥰 from Donna
Thank you for explaining it well I'm a beginner and it was wondering but the airplane noise 👎
Thank you for making this video. This is a very informative video tutorial. I have to say, though, the airplane sound is extremely annoying.
Thankyou so much for the video has i havent used a sewing machine before and my partner bought me one and i actually bought the exact pattern but didnt have a clue so thankyou
I’ve tried it two times with fat quarters and I always muck up the wrong side/right side thing. One is cut correctly and the other is incorrect. Just boggles my mind how to work out which way I should be cutting it haha!
Thank you for this video. It was so easy to follow your instructions and commentary step by step!
Thank you for this tutorial, it was so easy to follow and made it less daunting! Also, love the two-tone bear, I think I might copy you :)
Thank you for this tutorial, I get nervous when starting new patterns and I like to see how someone else makes it first so I feel more confident when trying it myself :) I’m expecting my first child in June and I want to make the babies first bear! I also want to add watching this made me think I was watching my late great aunt who lived in NZ as she was a sewist too
