I like Stephen Fry, but god, cocaine is a helluva drug. I heard an interview where he admitted to being on it, and this interview is nothing but him rambling about what he doesn't like in other people.
he's well charged?
Thank-you Stephen 😊 what wisdom 🙏 👏
What a treasure 3 parts well worth listening to
Mr Fry you are a gift 🎁 so Intelligent no wasted words hooray
What a great intellect he has, helps me get through yet another covid day
Work is more fun than fun. At least mine is 😋
I live you Stephen. I really do.
The greatest mind I know <3
That fact he mentioned how lucky he was to attend University reveals his humility I'm part of the Backadder generation so no stranger to his comic genius An all round nice guy Peace from New Zealand ✌
I met a guy at a wedding. We spoke for a while and he told me he was in a band. I went to see him play and eventually became their roadie/security for a decade.
Such a nice man, it seems but honest and humble so therefore no king, nor a eulogised saint, just a human who has dug deep to try to understand himself and humanity 🙏👍
I'm simply learning a lot from listening to this wonderful being. Thank you Mr. Fry.🙏🤗👏
Sloppy editing. Why cut him off in the middle of a sentence?
Stephanie you loveable tart can we have you cloned.
Yes: kindness!
Mr Fry thank you for saying loads of things that I have always thought but I'm not famous enough to be able to say it out loud, xxxxx
What is Twitter if not a comment page Stephen ?
I'm glad this was split into four videos. This allowed me to like this more than once.
I just wanted to be a counterexample. Stephen Fry is one of my heroes.
When this video finished I said to myself "damn, I wanted to hear more", and then I saw the rest of this conversation is available. Thank you!
In 2009 he admitted that he had fiddled his expenses. Hypocrite.
you let your eyes go below the bottom of the screen! should have taken his advice!
My left ear loved this.
So did mine. I'm corn beef in my right ear. (Corn beef = deef).
Yea i got 12 seconds in
Ironically, the right ear has just gone on my earphones.
Fry is the ultimate hypocrite. He whines about depression in documentaries and articles all the time. I have worse problems than he ever had and I talk to nobody about it. Stephen Lie.
I've never heard him whining. I've seen him opening up about his depression and helping others who suffer bipolar depression cope with it better. Whining is an entirely different thing.
+African Tribesman I'm pretty sure he'd be happy to admit any of his own hypocrisies, he seems very aware of any flaws he has. But I don't think he is being hypocritical in this instance. He makes those documentaries A) Because people want him to, and B) To raise awareness of issues like depression in all of society and other people. He just uses himself as the example because that's the best way to connect to the public who are interested in him. And besides, in his documentary about depression most of it is interviewing other people about their experiences. So I don't think it's being hypocritical, and he's definitely not whining. He's trying to help people.
Thanks for sharing this :)
Stephen Fry would be such a delightful person to know. Imagine for a second if he was your favourite uncle... You'd never read a stupid self help book again. You could just ask him for a piece of his mind. I'm really glad that he is out there on RUclips, we are all better for it.
great injection of wisdom, that! but can't help thinking the whole thing was an extremely subtle ad for apple ;)
Stephen is one of my heros. :)
He's so intelligent. I wish he could be my friend so I could ask him advice for everything in my life...
I've thought about that more than once :)
I could listen to Stephen Fry talk for hours. I found myself pausing the video regularly just to think inwardly about the points he's made and it's wonderful to listen to
my point is that people should be a bit more forgiving of others. nobody is perfect and you never know someone may be a certain way for a reason and it may be a reason they cannot help. stephen strikes me as someone who will love you but only if your quite similar to him. i dont suppose he actually rubs shoulders with people who are on the autistic spectrum for example. so his message of being kind and thoughtful to others doesnt ring true in my book.
you have i list of traits that if people have you write them off as negative. let me tell you. a few years ago i had a mouth virus unbenknownst to me because i didnt floss. during that time i felt tired constantly physically and mentally irritable got angry over everything and felt like shit 24/7 it was only a matter of pure luck that i tried flossing one day and my condition disappeared. if you had known me during that time you would probably have written me off but does that make me worthless?
because hes ignorant. for sopme reason a mass of clueless twats put this guy on a pedestal.
Unfortunately, I have to disagree with him on the point that people who are really good got there through social contacts. The musicians, artists, scientists, etc. who are incredibly incredible usually spend all their time neurotically doing what they are so good at alone. The question is whether that is something you want. Do you want to be the best, the first, the fastest, or rather enjoy a nonsensicle journey with your friends getting lost for hours on a one mile way looking at the daisies?
I've always liked Stephen Fry, had the great fortune and honor to meet him once (in a New York Episcopal/Anglican church, no less!), and now this. Listen to me! Listen to me! I really like this guy!
No pun intended? :)
I just left a comment. Does that mean I'm weird, unhappy, alone and strange?
OK seriously can we sack the entire government and make Stephen king?
Or can we make Stephen fry?
@@nathansikner2560 Hhaha nice once can we make Stephen Fry fry?
I think you're right, my Uncle has Aspergers and he is an awkward person to be around and a trial to talk to. I do however do try to talk to him, he comes up with things that make me think once in a while. He's not a techno-literate person but he has nearly all our family history in his head.
He's right in saying that autistics don't have a talent for interacting with other people. But he forgets that we are absolutely amazing at interacting with all of the machines and protocols that enable all of this wonderful technological development.
"Ah Christ! I'm sure it's terrible for you dear, but just shut up". That sums up my attitude towards negative people.
Shut up
11 people disliked this video because they just learned what egotistical means and that it applies to them.
Maybe missclick XD
Try this youtube com/watch?v=6pscjBGTr_o
its a shame he will never read your comment!
I think Stephen may be right! I shouldn't be wasting my snark here... I should start a Blog! ...but first I'll tweet just one more bible verse or religious crazy speak to Ricky Gervais.
stepen just got... TRIKCED! xdddddddddd
Can it be your headset, i only get sound from the one side of my headset.
Interesting, I like it.
i swear to god man stop trying to get in the last word haha XD
