What happened to this channel?
Two kids!!! I still dream as the proof of concept worked. I have a heap of story boards prepped and loads I’d like to do… but I’d rather spend my time with the baby right now :P One day it’ll be back in action. I see this as my way of giving back to a sport that gave me so much.

I believe you meant fingers should be at a 45 degree angle, not 90 degrees.

Step 1: Make sure you match grip size to hand size.
Absolutely, if you’re lucky enough to have your own gear this is a crucial element of gear selection. Some clubs are also set up to allow different grips for crew boats when crews have been selected for the season which allows the best grip size for each hand size. Most other times compromises have to be made as gear is shared.
