Absolutely incredible, I can tell what kind of emotions you wanted to get out of me during this and you even managed to get me to tear up after 4:12. On a smaller note, music selection was incredible lol, I mean it’s Xenoblade you can’t go too wrong but that adventurous start with Tantal, to the tense and dread inducing Engage The Enemy, and this was my first time hearing CODENAMEZ which I gotta say considering the only other songs I’ve heard from X, that was a great representation choice lol. Awesome work that you managed to pull from everything to make a nearly 6 minute trailer.

I love breath and tears honestly but yall are right on point with why to be disappointed I do kind of like the idea of the story taking place in memories

funny thing is pizza tower didn’t win the indie award at the game awards and instead this other game no one ever heard of did and everyone got mad at that lol. i highly recommend playing Pizza Tower it’s great and they just had an update that added 11 languages

Am so hype that Xenoblade can become more like the Fate series since ever-since that moment in 2 with X concept art tower they can easily brew up some those planets they never got to make for OG X an tie them to anything they desire they can't just do what they have done then stop pushing it further

As a long time souls veteran, I always feel like the difficulty is way too exaggerated, to the point that it chases people who would love them away.

Breath of the Wild had a superior story with better shrines, characters, and side quests. The part that was disappointing the most is that before the game came out Nintendo was selling to everyone that the main reason why people should be excited about the game is the fact that we were going to the sky. That was the main selling point. Come to find out that it’s just small copy and paste islands with the same exact shrine puzzles for nearly all of them and the two sky dungeons are incredibly short and easy. The depths were just as tedious if not worse. This means that 90% of the entire game still takes place on the same surface and the same hyrule as Breath of the Wild and its not as impactful or meaningful as visiting these areas the first time around in Breath of the Wild. Tarrey Town is a perfect example. I’m not trying to build cars and planes. I’m trying to play a damn Zelda game and this was by far the worst Zelda experience.

People that say fromsoft games are unnecessarily hard don’t understand them. They have been conditioned by years of hand-holding and mindless gaming. They are the type of person that needs a waypoint to show them where to go. You can’t listen to them, because they will never understand fromsoft games.

I agree that this game should've had some minimum way to guide quests. A dialog recap alone would've been so much help. I'm fine with no quest markers but in 2024, you shouldn't have to make notes out of the game in order to track your quests. That's so 1990. However, IMO the map of the main game was great, one of the best game maps. Again, it would've been desirable to be able to place annotated markers, but on the whole it worked very well, and actually did show characters after you met them. Most of the time. SOTE's added verticality with no way to switch between layers as you could in the main game made its map much less useful, but the main game's map worked well. I also agree about the jumping sequences. I play offline on PC so I could actually save scum within jumping sequences by manually copying save files. Imagine how much time that takes, and how annoying it is to have to go out of the game proper, but I did it nonetheless now and then because it was better than dying at the sixth and last part of a jumping sequence for the 10th time and having to do half the dungeon again for the 11th time. The Caelid Divine Tower was probably the worst offender, and the Belurat Goal from SotE. On the whole, though, Elden Ring is indeed a masterpiece, and like you, I'm very glad I went out of my comfort zone to play it. It was a very, very memorable experience.

Making zonai non human creatures and making a zonai being the first king really is what threw off the whole story for me. Like idk how the fuck in any world that makes sense and honestly I can't even comprehend who thought that was a good idea

You can also open all of those hidden doors with Margit's or Mohg's shackle. Yes I know this isn't mentioned anywhere. And you can also use the shackles to "hit" those flame pillars from a safe distance. Also no way to know this.

20:32 this is a joke right, you don't actually prefer that map over Elden Rings map? When I see stuff like that I lose all interest in the game, just a horrible mess off "look here". Not knowing adds so much to the exploration IMO.
