Brees is probably the 3rd best QB of all time. Fitz is a top ten WR of all time. Those 2 are locks. The only other one MIGHT be Frank Gore who has insane career numbers.

There’s no way the cardinals should surrender the draft capitol required to obtain Garret. We have to many needs all along the defensive line to make such a move. It doesn’t help that there’s no pass rusher available if FA worth signing this year, and the best defensive linemen are likely to either be resigned by their current teams, or franchised. Since we desperately need 2 new starting edge players, 2 new starting defensive tackles, a new starting right tackle, & a new starting guard. Making this type of trade is just not responsible team building. We need to release J. Williams, Jones, & Nickels; the saving from cutting Williams nearly covers the dead cap from releaseing the other two. Then in the draft we need to aim at edge/Dt the first 2-3 rounds of the draft; ignore the noise about drafting a qb, its foolish & a waste of capitol, and address offensive line in the later rounds. Mythic it was a chore watching this one my man, your product is bettter without guests like Mike, in my opinion.

I'm kinda torn 50-50. On one hand the dude is one of the top 5 (some could say top 2) defensive player in the NFL and would instantly upgrade this Arizona Cardinals Defense. Until he’s actually traded this is fluff. Remember Baker requested a trade from AZ as well, how’d that go? As for actually trading for Garret, it would be a Steve Keim move lol. We have to many defensive needs to be throwing away that much draft capitol for anyone player, regardless of their resume. Since there’s no one worth signing at pass rusher this off season, we need our draft picks desperately. The DT market this off season isn’t much better, but there at least a couple of dt’s worth the money. If AZ doesn’t leave the draft & FA with 2 new starting pass rushers & 2 new starting DT’s then Monty failed. Trading for anyone seriously limits our ability to bring in the talent we need to be competitive long term; not just a flash in the pan like so many other times we we semi-good.
