Help! My zone won’t pressure up
If you have a zone that won’t pressure up and you have confirmed there is no leak, the pressure is good and the control valve is open the whole way then then try installing check valves on the lowest heads.
Identify the heads that leak the most when you try and turn the zone on. Add check valves to those heads. Doing this will allow the lateral lines the fill with water faster and pressure up.

How do you become an irrigation service tech?
Excellent excellent excellent!!!!
Super helpful. Thanks for the easy explanation.
Thank you for such an informative video, helped wonderfully with our new system
Thank you!!!
Thank you so much! This helped a lot! Specially the start-time and run-time confusion, I think hunter should definitely change the names of program names!
I have two stations. One is for drip (B2) and one for lawn (A1). During the heat of the summer I like to cycle the lawn twice separated by one hour but when I try to schedule A2? the drips lines go off. What am I doing wrong?
Finally someone who explains everything clearly. Thank you sir.
The one video I have to watch every spring.
Thank you
Thank you for this video!! 1st time having a sprinkler system and I see why my water bill has been so high. I had it set up for 4 cycles instead of 1, so my sprinklers were running from 8 hrs instead of 2 hrs and had no idea.
I have this video saved and always reference it to make sure. Thank you for making this very well explained video!!
Thank you very much for a great easy to understand video of this system. I was having some difficulty and now it's set correctly and I fully understand how it works.
Well done . Thank you
Nice video ! It solved my problém
Nice video. What voltmeter do you use?
Job well done! You the only one explained verywell specily the calendar in water days part..... thx!
Thank you so much ! Fantastic tutorial video in a slow paced, easy to understand format ! You are awesome 👍👍👍 ! I've been getting out of bed at 4:45am just trying to figure things out - 😂😂😂 . Thanks for putting an end to that foolishness ! Brilliant video ! ✅👍✅👍✅
U said generally we should have run time on at 20 but how long should we have it during the 90 degree weather ? Im in florida btw
Thank you!
Love this video! It was super helpful. So clear and concise. Thank you!!!!
Thank you!!! The description of start time versus run time and the programs versus zones in the manual was not clear enough. Beautiful description at 7 minutes in. Thank you!!!
Awesome! Appreciate the info. I have one on the way and can't wait for it!!
Very good information! I have a problem. The clock and date on my Hunter programmer resets every time there is a power outage. It is normal? Thank you
PLUS - BEST TUTORIAL EVER WATCHED!!!!
EXCELLENT
This guy is the best I’ve heard yet! He speaks clearly and explains well . I need to play it several times and walk through with my controller. I don’t understand why the Hunter manufacturer can’t hire his expertise to produce their videos ?!
Very educational and informative thank you so much
Should the system always be in bypass or should it be in the on position
Thank you so much
this is the best tutorial I've found so far. The only area I want him to add is how to program a, b, c for each zone. I have 6 zone but he is showing 4.
This was awesome! Great learning video, more should make videos like this. Thank you
An easier way to understand and remember it is, that the "left" or "right" in the nozzle name indicates 'where' on the strip it should be placed. The "left" nozzle needs to be placed on the left side of the strip while the "right" nozzle is supposed to be placed on the right side of the strip. Thanks for the video.
This was a great video!
Homeowner here. I asked my supplier for the Hydrawise Pro HC WIFI which I run in advanced mode from my laptop or smartphone. I work in IT as a programmer so a sprinkler controller is a simple affair. No issues.
I recommended switching to standard mode, you will find it a lot easier to program and you won't lose any features - My Hunter rep advised me on this. Advanced mode is for people who are installing multiple clocks per day and want to quickly add settings without having to manually input them all.
Hi i got safety switch on and off for my reticulation. Now i want install a hunter x2 wiffi control. Can you plz make video how to connect the wire between 2 of those. Thanks
Very good tutorial. The instructions that came with the controller are not clear at all regarding distinguishing between programs, cycles, and stations. My irrigation installer for my home system was using the term zone which complicated the issue. As a practicing landscape architect, my irrigation designer did not recommend Hunter products for this very reason.
You are amazing! ❤paper instructions is not good
our hacksaw looks about the same lol, we unfortunately broke it working in the mud/rain
Great video!
Wonderful explanation. Great video
thx!
dude, thank you!
Very helpful, rather clear and concise, thank you! well done video!
I like it dude, PROPS!! I would irrigate with you. I'll bet you do good work too! 💪
All very useful. I would like to add, wire tracker. Hand Pump. Folding Hand Saw (roots), 4” Trenching Shovel. Leatherman multi-tool (saves a lot of trips back and forth to the truck) Also, I get a lot of use out of my Progressive Station Master and Wire Toner.
very well explained thank you
Holy crap.... I've been watching the factory video for two or three times and just one viewing through yours made it understandable. My system had 5 different start times for A, B, and C. All I really needed was "A" with a run time of 0200. Now I'm not going to be dodging the putrid sulfur water that my well is pumping out five times every other day. Don't know where you are located but if you get near Florida, you got a pizza coming to you. Many thanks!
Why 45 degree angel?
The shut-off valves are ball valves. When they are fully open or closed water can get trapped in them. When they freeze this can cause them to break. By putting them at a 45° angle you allow space for water to expand when it freezes, reducing the chance of them breaking.
Best video. Thx.
Great tutorial for our Hunter X2. You made it so easy to figure this thing out! 👏
