Help! My zone won’t pressure up
If you have a zone that won’t pressure up and you have confirmed there is no leak, the pressure is good and the control valve is open the whole way then then try installing check valves on the lowest heads.
Identify the heads that leak the most when you try and turn the zone on. Add check valves to those heads. Doing this will allow the lateral lines the fill with water faster and pressure up.

    I have two stations. One is for drip (B2) and one for lawn (A1). During the heat of the summer I like to cycle the lawn twice separated by one hour but when I try to schedule A2? the drips lines go off. What am I doing wrong?

    Thank you for this video!! 1st time having a sprinkler system and I see why my water bill has been so high. I had it set up for 4 cycles instead of 1, so my sprinklers were running from 8 hrs instead of 2 hrs and had no idea.

    An easier way to understand and remember it is, that the "left" or "right" in the nozzle name indicates 'where' on the strip it should be placed. The "left" nozzle needs to be placed on the left side of the strip while the "right" nozzle is supposed to be placed on the right side of the strip. Thanks for the video.

    Homeowner here. I asked my supplier for the Hydrawise Pro HC WIFI which I run in advanced mode from my laptop or smartphone. I work in IT as a programmer so a sprinkler controller is a simple affair. No issues.

      I recommended switching to standard mode, you will find it a lot easier to program and you won't lose any features - My Hunter rep advised me on this. Advanced mode is for people who are installing multiple clocks per day and want to quickly add settings without having to manually input them all.

    Very good tutorial. The instructions that came with the controller are not clear at all regarding distinguishing between programs, cycles, and stations. My irrigation installer for my home system was using the term zone which complicated the issue. As a practicing landscape architect, my irrigation designer did not recommend Hunter products for this very reason.

    Holy crap.... I've been watching the factory video for two or three times and just one viewing through yours made it understandable. My system had 5 different start times for A, B, and C. All I really needed was "A" with a run time of 0200. Now I'm not going to be dodging the putrid sulfur water that my well is pumping out five times every other day. Don't know where you are located but if you get near Florida, you got a pizza coming to you. Many thanks!

    Why 45 degree angel?

    • @irrigationtipstricks7797
      @irrigationtipstricks7797 4 месяца назад

      The shut-off valves are ball valves. When they are fully open or closed water can get trapped in them. When they freeze this can cause them to break. By putting them at a 45° angle you allow space for water to expand when it freezes, reducing the chance of them breaking.
