I'm creating an EASIER way to control Robots and Animatronics
Просмотров 10 тыс.3 года назад
When I made my first robot, I wanted an intuitive, visual tool to control it, but nothing like that existed. So I made it! Download FREE at: www.Bottango.com I need your help creating the ultimate tool of hardware control for humans. Bottango is a new, visual tool for controlling robots, animatronics, and all kinds of hardware. In my long history as a game developer, I knew that I wouldn't use ...
Face Controlled Mood Wall
Просмотров 2,8 тыс.5 лет назад
I made another thing! This time it's a mood wall that reacts to your facial expressions. I made it out of an Arduino, poster board, disposable cups, Neopixels, an iPhone X and a whole lot of cutting. The wall itself is driven by Unity, sampling animations and particle systems to make a final light show presentation. Hope you like it! I'll make more things soon!
Animatronic Lawn Flamingo
Просмотров 3,8 тыс.6 лет назад
Check out my very first robot... in my very first video! Federico is an animatronic lawn flamingo! He's got 7 points of articulation, a bad attitude, and a whole lot of fragile bones. Ferderico is made with an Arduino, servo motors, and is powered by the Unity game engine.
Am I safe to assume that starting with a bird was an intentional nod to the history of animatronics? Very cool stuff! Just found this channel so fun to see how this passion project has evolved 🦩🐻 🦜
Does anyone know the origins of the toucan animatronic? I’ve Been wanting to make a similar one
Amazing!
tbh I'm super impressed by the completeness, power, and intuitive interface Bottango is so far just starting to use it! Really really amazing work!
Would love to get one of these!
I just speed ran this series. There's a 5 year old future engineer somewhere in America rt now, laughing as they repeatedly plunge a seizing, singing robot fish into the toilet. That, my friend, is a brilliant engineer. Despite their youth, they see a real problem to humanity and act creatively to solve it. Stop now and you deny the word more sing along, robotic animals. Remember that. And be proud of those you saved
I would buy this
So I have a robot That has a very bad AI chatbot. Separately I have a very good AI chat bot. I would like to replace the bad AI chat bot with my good one and have it control the robot instead. What would be a good place for me to start.
I love Maxwell and I'm very excited to see what you have in store for the future.
Holy crap, Maxwell's song is fantastic!
I really just want you to teach us how
do you guys ship internationally?
YEAH!... WELL, this whole thing isn't easy for non-programmers or beginners when it comes to setting up the software. I've spent THREE WEEKS tearing my gray hair out trying to get the Arduino and Bottango servo board to communicate--without huge ERROR NOTICES! I've asked folks on these Bottango RUclips videos to help me so that I may offer positive reviews. No one has responded! I suppose no one cares! Well, I am not posting positive feedback since the Maker never responded to my email contacts, RUclips videos, Reddit, or Facebook. Neither has anyone else! So, until individuals start assisting others, I recommend that everyone utilize Maestro or another program. The Bottango community and Maker have no decent RUclips videos to walk folks through this. They only have videos that celebrate the awful item and their animatronic parrot and bear. It's all hype. They shortchange the consumer by directing everyone to the "Manual." This is wonderful and dandy IF you can read it! It appears that persons who are overly intelligent FAIL to simplify their manuals and instructions. They also do not utilize uneducated individuals to assist them in troubleshooting these kind of problems, which they DO NOT SEE. Well, Bottango fans, what little there are, I'm really furious about this program. I studied the handbook, installed the joints and motors, and worked out the Port issue. To get Arduino to establish a pORT, it appears that you must turn off the "LIVE" setting in the program. THEN, you activate the "LIVE" button. The Buttango Servo Board is a major difficulty. I'm pretty upset about this. The board states that the voltage input ranges from 5 to 8.4 volts. So, after hooking it into an adaptor and letting some of the live servos run for a brief time, it BURNED OUT over 15 servo motors. I am F--- GLADE I do not hook this into my REAL animatronic device because I would have to GUT the F___ thing and replace all the servos! Thank goodness I used test servos that weren't hooked to any mechanism. I've also seen that several RUclipsrs just utilize Arduino Uno or greater boards, with breadboards connecting everything to Bottango. I am wondering why. So, if someone calls me for assistance, I will remove this nasty message, apologize, and provide positive feedback. OTHERWISE, it remains available on RUclips. BOTTANGO must take responsibility and recommence their teaching movies, as well as respond to these comments. SLIENCE BETRAYS THEM! ANYONE that wants to help can contact me here... I will be more than grateful; I will even pay you $$$$$$ SO, lets SEE IF anyone communicates??? :o) ROSS: 360-421-7195 ROSSMARSHALL@weirdvideos.com.

central locking motor of a car door as my animatronic movement mechanism. Can this be applied to this website? Will it work for me?
Thanks for your software! I have used Vixen Lights software to animate a servo for mouth movement, but i am having trouble setting up a servo in Bottango. Could you do a short video on setting up just one servo in Bottango? Thanks!
It’s real I ordered it and it was the real thing
how do you import 3d models into the builder?
It’s great thank you all
Im making my own animatronic but im drawing the idea first
IS IT THE FREDDY FAZ BEAR
Excited for Christmas because of this!! (Also the Bear biology category is Ursus, sry just has the urge)
How long does it typically take to ship out?
0:36 *sniff sniff* HHMMMMMMM I SMELL LOOOREE
looking foward to getting one
I want to put i.a at plushies, security and fun for the kid and parents. Ty for sharing!
Love what you're doing! Keep up the great work. Very impressed.
Is there a way to use botango to make a animation and put it into a razbarry pie but instead of connecting it to your laptop all the time it have preset animation set so when you hit a button it activate the animation just like those step button Halloween animatronics
You guys are so cool I have always been fascinated with animatronics but I didn’t know what I was doing and it wasn’t in my budget thank you so much keep it up!!!!
Looks amazing! Do you ship to the UK?
Thank you so much for making this I am so excited about Bottango!! I have been looking for an entry point to robotics designed for creative people and this is perfect
What you guys are doing is so awesome! Thank you so much for making animatronics accessible to everyone :)
So cool❤
what server controllers compatible with software
This is amazing! Thank you for opening this door!
I just discovered this channel and I’m already in love. As someone who has always been enthralled with Disney “imagineering” and animatronics and daydreaming all my life about being able to create my own, your mission of making this stuff accessible and comprehendible to the masses is literally a dream come true for me. I’m so excited to explore everything you have to offer and will be rooting for you to keep it going! Cheers!
thx, thats awesome!
Dude!! Can you use bottango to make your own robotics that arent part of the set? Is it programming AND design software?? If so it looks great and i cant wait to use it!! So you just animate it all and itll tell you what works and doesnt? Thats awesome!! Been an animator and artist for a long time so thats right up my alley!
Ayoo whos singing that song?? 😆❤️
This is so cool!! Is all of this free to learn online?? Awesome if it is!! Im getting into robotics/animatronics and programming! Im a beginner like on the very first steps of learning python, but im very interested in this! Especially when it comes to building and designing!
I really appreciate you guys 🫶
Thanks so much bro😊.you helped me a lot
I want the full lyrics to Maxwell's song! Who did it? Do they do other music/songs?
Does it work with a pca sevo controller?
Uh oh the bite of 23
amazing video! but um?? are we not gonna talk about the song!? i NEED it oin my playlist! lmao
Your software is likely to change my game and help me create such better animations for our Halloween animatronics. Thank you!
This is such a wonderful thing to share! This is just the kind of thing to bring people into robotics to understand that anyone who is interested can do it!
