yeah, trying it out - i have a lot of exciting moments that people miss if they don't watch an entire video so this is a way to get them out. also very proud of this moment from today and had to show off a lil ;)

Weirdly thinking you could do something like this in assassin with vigilant of stendarr would need away to get the 2/0 swords into hand but some other tech with souls rest or nix ox maybe.

@TheThinWhiteDukestar I started playing MTG Arena. It scratches some of the itch, but Magic's mana system, which ESL fixed beautifully, is so frustrating! I don't know of any other game system where some percentage of the time you randomly are completely incapacitated, and can only pass and watch your opponents play while you can do nothing.

yeah, most exalt lists i build include at least 6 ramp cards cos some of those costs definitely feel gross. masterwork is an interesting idea, although for this list i preferred the consistency of mushroom tower

hes done that, it doesnt do anything interesting. almost all discount effects, including lichs ascension, only affect cards in hand, not all cards in the deck. the exception is rimmen purveyor.

i've streamed a list that does effectively the same thing but doesn't rely on your opponent playing ascension .... will be a video within the next couple weeks :)
