Hello,
We're Roger and Linni, just a coast loving couple having a go!
We're from Northern NSW Australia, travelling in our Owner-built custom Toyota Coaster 4x4 bus.
Here you'll find vids of how we do it. Mainly 4x4'ing, beach and surf. Mostly a good time.
Come along for the ride 🤙

Mundaring Power Line Track in a 4x4 Toyota Coaster bus?!

Come watch us take our 4x4 Toyota Coaster bus down a completely unnecessary track just for the sake of it. Does she tip? Does she cruise up it? Or does she perform somewhere in the middle?
We've been busy living life with friends and family who flew over from QLD so the "Inside Walk Through Video" has been slightly delayed. Sit tight though, we'll be releasing Monday!

#kingshocks #toyotacoaster #caravaningaus #overlanding #4x4 #bus4x4 #mikesshockshop Our Custom owner-built DIY 4x4 Toyota Coaster "Motorhome" that we travel Australia in. L/100km? 0_60? Worst conversion ever? What kit and parts? Our drama with industry option revealed! Interior video coming soon! check out our Instagram justgotere for updates.
Awesome rig. It does look a little top heavy though. How much weight have you got hanging over that rear axle
looks super top heavy
She’s got about 3t of water, driveline, and diesel under floor height. The body weighs just about nothing in comparison so nothing to worry about. Considering wheel track vs height and weight distribution, it wouldn’t be much worse than a troopy with a rooftop tent I reckon. You have to keep in mind too, this is a motorhome. So comparing it to cars + caravans makes more sense than comparing it to 4x4’s
OMG 😂❤😅😮😊so good mate 👏 👌 🙌 God bless take care
Great work, inspirational. You both give off hilarious vibes too. I need one of these busses.
Thankyou 🙏🏽❤️
absolutely awesome build. looks like a great money pit! I'm going to use this as an index for some great parts. thanks for the vid!
Cool as fuck ,,,
Yewww! 🙏🏽
Dude that death woble was unreal. Epic build.
Not wrong! Thanks mate! 🙏🏽
This thing is absolute goals! And so good seeing you take it wherever you want to go 💪🏼
Bloody oath! Thanks mate!
I haven't seen the interior yet, but being a Toyota fan and loving the lifted 4x4, I'd love to see these rigs in the USA!
Thanks!
Awesome work mate! Looking forward to more vids. New Sub!
Thankyou!
Had the death wobbles recently at 80kmh also and touching the brakes made it even worse, glad you got it on camera so people can see just how violent the steering shakes.
It’s a crazy sensation! What vehicle did you have it in?
@@Justgotere 4x4 Canter
Why are you wearing a winter hat when it's so hot in Australia
It’s a wig hat, I’m bald
Hi, love the rig mate, well done👍 just wondering what suspension set up you're running plus would like to know how you've managed to get the super singles onto the rig, cos I'm also looking for a Coaster 4X4, new subbie here take care and thanks for the vids keepem coming cheers😁👍
Hey mate! It’s a equal length 4link setup in the front with a track bar, crossover steering and king coilovers, rear is still on the factory parabolics with a extra leaf for load and king shocks. As for the super singles it’s just a process, depends what GVM the vehicle is too, easiest way is to find a manufacturer that can confidently build and rate the wheels within a high standard and provide some kind of proof of design/quality, then you just need a mod plater/engineer 🤟🏾 Thanks mate! Will do!
Want to see more of this beast, keep them vids coming mate, cheers😁👍
nice set up
The bus is built right, but all credit to the driver, knowing how to crawl his bus
Why Thankyou!
Seems like a more than capable bus ,, I’ll watch for. Future episodes 👍
14:59 I actually dropped by to have a tour of the inside. Edit : I'll wait for the interior tour 🙂
Coming!
Ya sure handle all that length well 😁 great to see ya don’t drive it like it’s stolen 🕺🕺 pretty capable Bus ya got there
Yeeeeew
Makes the heart miss a beat in some spots! I have driven these power line tracks in an abbey truck (cherry picker to some) when spraying the insulators. Love your bus, love your videos!
Thanks mate! Bloody awesome track, must have been fun in a work truck 😂
@@Justgotere it was, if you like being thrown around in the cab 🤣🤣🤣
That is a RIG, well done mate
Thanks champion 🙏🏽
aus. bug experts.
Thanks for being open and naming and shaming old mate in Victoria. Just remember, it is not slander or defamation if it is true.
Exactly right! Thankyou!
I want one. 😊
Death woble
Go's Hard
My type of traveling right there. Great bus.
Thankyou! Ours too believe it or not 😂
I love it nice don
Thankyou! 🙏🏽
Cool !
U are
Thats my dream right there !! 🥰
You guys are a ball of joyful energy. Great job on the build! Looking forward to seeing your channel grow. Thanks for the vibes and tour! Good luck with the journey ahead mate🙏🏼
Thankyou for the kind words! ❤️
Jeep owners call it the death wobble. Common problem with solid axles.
Love the laid back attitude when he is talking about the work done, respect. Lovely vehicle.
What a set up! Absolute beast of a rig. Thanks for showing us around and for your honest feedback. Those death wobbles looked bloody gnarly. Really keen to see the work you did on the inside as well.
Thankyou! Appreciate the comment, inside is coming!
Aw, hell no!! them wobblies aren't cool at all! whoever decided that installation was ideal, shoulda bin swallowed, not hatched!!
💯
What a ripper rig, how long did the build take from start to resolving the issues?
Thankyou! The bus itself took me 5-6 years to do, i did the 4x4 conversion in two weeks, then took me 6 months to go through everything and fix/replace/fabricate the junk out. I was working full time and building a classic car at the same time so it didn’t get my full attention.
Steering wobble is easy to fix
Space travel and brain surgery are too if you’re an expert in a particular field
Great 👍❤
Very impressive bus, Looks awesome!
🙏🏽 🙏🏽
what kind of engine does it have?
The 4L TD out of Hino 300’s etc. N04c engine and a444e auto
Name and shame, oath
What was the overall cost, both the 4x4 conversion and then the “camping/ internal setup”?
I did everything myself so considerably less, probably as much as 79 series with a canopy 😂
Very cool! Thanx for sharing. Aloha.
I used to drive a Hino Pantech that would get those death wobbles at 80! It's terrifying!!
What a weapon!
Great Video guys, but it's been 6 days when do we get to se the inside, if it's anything like what you have done to the outside, it's gunna be great. Looking forward to it.
Amazing. Taking me back 25 years when I thought this type of vehicle was the best method of transport to do the lap! Looking forward to your updates.
Thankyou!
Looking forward to the interior tour.😊 subbed 👍💪📺
Thankyou!
