I think you're lacking analytical strength. I think this is some type of regurgitation and you should include sources for the textbook information. You should establish yourself organically instead of showing up to youtube like you're Mr. Beast and starting a chocolate company to try to become a billionaire... You didn't correlate what money has to do with each decision on your 'T chart' and made the most relevant point you've made irrelevant which was what money has to do with the game operation and then the decisions they are making with the gameplay. Maybe it's some corporate level of thinking that has made their decision and despite being given the answer you haven't quite comprehended that, having people quit and become frustrated would reduce server load, to then later remove the mechanic after the game has a net positive income or is profitable. Then besides that glaring point of your incompetence, who cares, you're not even talking about an American game. You are literally born and have no idea what's going on and you're doing something that will probably fail, I'm telling you you're a waste of oxygen, but nothing is certain other than you lack analytical strength. Just go put a fake resume together and finish school dude.
How is this model different than League of Legends? They charge for both units and skins and in both games you do not need all the units to play. I'm not saying I like this model but I don't believe you've really made your point.
If i had to make a suggestion for battle aces to fix this You start with 2 decks worth of units (there should be enough units for that in the full release, i doubt they would be going into it without a few more units from the beta) and first 4-8 unit units cost 1/2 the price (possibly with the most expensive units excluded from that, because players will optimise all the fun out of the game if you let them) That way new players can have 2 prebuilt decks to use without thinking too much (lets just say 1 is harassment focused, and one is punching the enemy in the face focuses) plus can feck about with building there own deck, and have 8 relatively quick unlocks so they can build a deck they think will be even more fun fairly quickly, as well as mix and match 24 units in a few decks. There will still be a lot of people who unlock 8 or 9 units and just say "nah, this isn't worth the grinding", but they'll have played a lot more of the game, and have more stuff already to play around with, so just saying "i feel like some battle aces today" and playing for a couple hours will be a more likely occurance, rather than expecting them to make battle aces there "main game" from the get go. Now, you might say "oh, unlocking all units in 10 hours is a way healthier way for the game to operate", and i think thats entirely fair and reasonable, but also wrong. Source: gacha games. People utterly adore those, and yet they don't unlock all the units for weeks and months, if not years. Obviously battle aces doesn't attract the gambling addicts such as myself (if it did people would fucking riot. Or, well, the major RTS people just would not play and the game would struggle to gain traction among RTS regulars, not that it's meant to its designed as babby first RTS but i digress) but having dozens of hours of gameplay where you always have new things to unlock and explore how to play with is likely going to give more players more retention than just unlocking them all very quickly. If theres 40 units to unlock, and you unlock them in 80 hours, that 2 hours per unit to try and work them into decks and see if you enjoy them. If it's 10 hours, thats 15 minutes to try make a unit work. About 2 games. Maybe 1 if you played slow. And sure you can unlock them in sets of 4 and play with them for an hour, but it's still a very short amount of time, so there could easily be more people who get all the units in 10 hours and leave after 15 rather bored, than there would be people who get 27 units after 10 hours and leave bored of the grind after 15. Lot of rambling and conjecture from me, and i do think you have some good points (see mechabellum for a game which gives you all the units and techs and then just sells cosmetics) but i don't think your suggestion for abandoning the credits system is neccessairly the best course of action for battle aces
Well the obvious challenge is Recall only. Great video by the way. My only issue is the faux drama. you have great and clear voice, and explain the concepts very well, but maybe be more irreverent in the future.

I agree, I think all the base units and a small number of tier 2 and 3 should be unlocked from the start. Players should only have to unlock tier 2 and 3 units.

this is such a horrid video lmao this problem kills YOUR interest in it (despite not knowing how it actually is going to be on launch, convenient left that out with all your calculations) it won't kill the game, just like it hasn't killed hundreds of other games that do this model because it is quite literally one of the most successful models your graphs are factually incorrect and based entirely on opinion, especially the "more players = more sales" bit, which conveniently creates its own context that people are quitting instead of just getting the 2-3 units they want yet if they weren't quitting they'd be buying skins instead of the units they want to PLAY. no one is forcing themselves to get 8 brand new units in their first few hours, that would be retarded and anyone doing so is choosing to inflict upon themselves their own grind, one that is not required in anyway shape or form brother it's ok if you don't like the model. You haven't seen the model, you don't actually know what you're talking about since everything you're saying is based on numbers in beta that can be and WERE tweaked due to community input you have literally nothing here but a video that pretends you are a big youtuber but fails to meet every single mark that those videos actually have. 1) real evidence 2) things that aren't 100% opinion 3) they don't use other peoples quotes for 3 seconds to justify their own words despite the context being completely different and entirely controlled by you while you're ignoring everything that is inconvenient to your point the game might flop, but i can tell you with absolute certainty it won't be for any of the reasons you said in your little "research" video

You should have put another tier between your current A and B. It feels like that niche is sorely missing.
Did the predator not get changed to do only single target damage to air?
Yes actually, on the 7/8 balance patch they changed predator to deal high single target damage. However, they said, "We wanted to test a more single target based slow ground to air unit at the advanced foundry and decided to use the Predator to do this test with." I ranked the splash damage version, because I believe that it is the intended version that will make it into the full release.

Nice video and solid tierlist! Love the suggestion to the turrets, sounds fun (and maybe OP). The hunter really should have more range and there are certainly groups of units (eg core melee, t2 Aoe,...) that need some internal rebalancing. The beta, with all the patches, rotated through the rock-paper-scissors of units (AoE > DPS > Tank > Aoe) so fast, it's hard to really say much about balance but the tierlist shows you ended on tanks being strongest (while I ended on AoE being strongest)^^ The only units I strongly disagree on (2 tiers off) are the turrets and locusts. One mistake (I think), they changed the Predator in the last patch to super high single target damage (at least 1200, one shotting Butterflies) from medium AoE damage. Thanks for the videos, hope to see you upload again during the next beta!

different challenge: can you win with the worst deck you can think of? core - crab and scorpions ... amazing choice :P foundry - raiders and turrets starforge - heavy turrets advanced foundry - predators advanced starforge - valkyries and advanced bots
Bit tricky to think of more challenges as fun as crabs but some generic ones like no core unit, only flying units, but very hard to get wins. You explain well so just basic guide content would be good as well as challenges.
