Thank you. This worked for me too! I had one spot that was thick so I placed a little sanitizer directly on the sap for 30 seconds and was then able to wipe it off.

It was horrible, just talking talking talking Still all 4 corner of screen dust there . Waste my time .

Soak tissue paper in Dawn dish soap with a bit of hot water. Slap the dish soap and water mixture soakes tissue all over your car and leave over night. Soaking softens all the tree sap and bird poo. Best to do it inside so water doesn't evaporate quickly. Next day, the tree sap is softened and easy to remove. Gentle dish soap shouldn't damage the car clear coat or car paint

after removing tree sap it leaves dullness on paint , so do i have to wash that area or leave it as it is ?

Holy %#@#!#$....hand sanitizer DOES work!!!!!! I park near/under pines a lot and get sap all over my car. I struggled getting it off. Hand sanitizer made it so easy...wth!

It works great but here's the problem. It's corrosive to metal so wash your trailer well after and keep it off any chrome. Remember if you soak your bunks you better soak them well if there black they may bleach out and if you leave that 5% muriatic acid sitting there eating at your gel coat the carpet and wood on the bunks. It could become costly later down the road. You also will have two bunk stripes of dirt down the hull.

Seems to good to be true, how are you supposed to know when you go through paint, I used same technique same paper but when I buff and polish it its just hazzy and foggy also why isn't clear coat added if it's been removed

Also in the car there was a 1987 original log that he kept ever record of every repair/maintenance of the vehicle 😳 I couldn't and still don't believe it man. I just keep looking back on all the dates its amazing to see how well he maintained and logged EVERYTHING every 3 months there is record from 1987 until 2022 🤯

Just inherited a baby blue 62 impala from my grandpa. He gave it to me when I was 5 but have been waiting until I got a house with a garage to send it to me. It's showing its age. The paint is original and it needs to be repainted but for now I'll stick the original. I absolutely love it. I haven't seen it for at least 15 years so when I saw it on the truck it brought back so many memories. I was obsessed the car when I was little.

Put a coat of transmission fluid on the plastic trim, let sit an hour or so then wipe off with a clean rag. works great and will last up to a year.
