The ONE person in the world I'd like to have as a friend would be John Waters. ANd second would be Blackie Lawless. In that order.
John is probably one of the most unique people in the world. His work is disgusting, offensive, and gross. Some of his friends are murderers - including members of the Manson family. And yet - he is well spoken, funny, and very educated with many topics! I like him - and his films! Female Trouble is my favourite!

@@smbits the democrats did the only thing they could do which was good for them. Kamala will be stronger now than she would be in 2028 after another trump term. And the media, ever voracious for a new angle has one. But this is far from over. Republicans are still insisting they will not recognize the election results. And she is not dominating any polls. And the electoral college assure that bad things can happen despite the popular vote. And the media are fickle. I’m sure Biden wanted to go down with the ship but he was mercifully relieved of his duties. Trump’s behavior remains outrageous yet he is still in the race. So what has changed is the media perception today. I hope I am wrong but it is only July. Whatever happens, we as a country and a world are in for chaos. So, before you make too many assumptions, let me reiterate, I will see you in 2028. Hopefully.
@@LarryCharlesProjects yes agreed. Please be careful in equating your hate for BOTH sides. There's a vast difference between the two parties- and while both parties continue to play the same old political games- only one party currently stands for decency and democracy.

The corporate take-over of American politics is because America is a greed is good culture built on capitalism. I agree with all that you say here. I also worry that one cult has begotten another cult. The denial of reality surrounding Biden's mental acuity has been worrisome. I am afraid we will have another trump presidency as we are an emotional wreck of a people and most will be drawn to the shinier spectacle. How then can we continue to spread critical thinking skills and figure the best way to create the most common good? I am at a loss.

I love Seinfeld. I like Wayne Knight. I like Larry Charles. But this....this was not good. There's nothing at all wrong with the acting. Wayne and Crombie are wonderful, of course. They do what they can with the material. I don't know how much NBC's meddling is to blame but the story and the script are just not appealing. Although it's only one episode, I have concerns about the chemistry, as well. I'd love to have seen Larry be allowed his full vision. You'd think/hope his association with Seinfeld would have afforded him such a luxury. Littlefield was president at the time. Was he a proponent or opponent? Maybe 1995 was too soon to broach an idea for a sitcom with Knight as the main star. In any event, thanks for sharing. Cheers.

I think, if you listen to my videos I make it clear I am not a fan of either party or person but mainly critical of the system itself. But just to speak of Trump: He did say he would be a dictator on day one. He spoke of vengeance and retribution on his political enemies. He stacked the court with right wing regressive judges that have rolled back basic rights. He fosters hate for immigrants. He is an admirer of Putin and Kim. And in general, he has used the system for his own enhancements. But the democrats stood back and let it all happen because they benefit too. It’s all in the video. Thanks for watching.
