My father - hammond organ player himself - gave me my first drum kit at the age of 4 but Metallica made me actually start playing it in the early 90's. Drummer in a popular Swedish cover band since 1996 (one year as full-time job). I have also been teaching percussion and drums.
The goal with this channel is to inspire other drummers and share some of my long experience as a drummer. These days I only play digital drums, due to convenience when it comes to adjusting volume and recording. I practice on a Yamaha DTX402 kit and play 2box drums with the band.
Some drummers I have been influenced by: Jeff & Simon (Toto), Lars (Metallica), Dave (Dave Weckl band), Vinnie (Pantera), Dave (Pearl Jam), Harvey Mason, Mike & Mike (Dream Theater) and - of course - Micke Wikman, who gave me many invaluable lessons!
Please ask questions about technique/playing in a band/exercises etc. Also tell me if you have any particular requests for a future video.
