Okay just took a glance! I think your show concept is awesome. If you want to keep it audio only, one of the things you could do is reshoot clips based on the best moments you identified from take 1. Or if you want to use the existing footage, id use some kind of b-roll that’s almost like you writing on a whiteboard or something. It has a very follow along type vibe that you could take advantage of. Think about it similar to math or chemistry equations being shown as you’re talking about them. There’s a ton of other ways too, but I think this could be something that really fits your content style. And also removes the friction to make it too. I hope that’s helpful!

Amazing work getting to 36 episodes. I absolutely think that could help. Check out Moneywise, their first few episodes are audio only right now, but I still listen on RUclips. You'd capture people who's habit is to just listen on RUclips vs Spotify or Apple. As long as you're not expecting the kind of reach you would have with video, it's worth it in your case. I think since you are debating the switch, I'd consider recording the video version but not publishing the full episode. Go in with the expectation that you will probably toss it in the memory box. But then I would make 3-15min videos out of the full episode IF you strike gold. That way it's not a full on switch. You still are primarily audio. Which gives people reason to tune into the other platforms. But RUclips could act as more of a distributor and sampler. The long form clips are less pressure than full episodes every week. It gets more reach than the full episode anyways because of how you title and target a specific topic. And removes the unspoken commitment of always havign to be video once you do it. To me the long form clips create a special bonus type feel.

Make sure the scene has boundaries so the rotation you apply happens for that one caption. Then follow this flow for adjusting the rotation from scene to scene. Caption scene 1 = 0 degrees Caption scene 2 = -5 degrees Caption scene 3 = 0 degrees Caption scene 4 = +5 degrees Caption scene 5 = 0 degrees Rinse and repeat Adjust the rotation to your liking, but more than -7 or +7 degrees in either direction can begin to be too much rotation

Assuming there’s a USB-C connection, the Shure MV7 is a nice pick. The DJI wireless lav mics and the Rode Wireless ones also have adapters that allow the receiver to fit into most phones / tablets. I’ve tested some amazing wireless mics under $40 on Amazon. They work pretty well for the price. The trade off is reliability in the long run I’m sure. But it can do the job for many folks!

Yeah this is way easier now. Continuity camera function didn’t exist when I made this video. Cinematic was only available on the phone vs when being used as a webcam too

Yes I believe you can. I think you need to use the Blackmagic camera app. And need a USB-C to HDMI adapter

I know it's unbelievable. Are you using Mac? One workaround is using the iCloud Drive. Just drag and drop into there. And access it on your phone through FILES app.

Wow really? At least we know it's happening on both photo and video. I have no idea in regards to the Drive app. But my workaround for this has been using iCloud Drive on Mac, then accessing through the FILES app on iPhone. I use Notion for everything so I sometimes put the photo in a notion card. Then i can download it on my phone pretty easily.
