I was sitting at my desk a few weeks ago, (writing a bunch of nonsense as I usually do), when i realized i had reached an anniversary. I quit my job last April and without notice, time has flown by.
It's been a crazy year. One of pause, gratitude, regrets, and reminiscing. I've felt joy by traveling far and making new lifelong friends. I've felt guilt as I recognize my own privilege and understand this hiatus is not a choice everyone is given. I've felt pride - for making active choices and owning up to my own decisions.
