one year later: quitting my job (thoughts & reflections)

hi again youtube - long time no see :)
I was sitting at my desk a few weeks ago, (writing a bunch of nonsense as I usually do), when i realized i had reached an anniversary. I quit my job last April and without notice, time has flown by.
It's been a crazy year. One of pause, gratitude, regrets, and reminiscing. I've felt joy by traveling far and making new lifelong friends. I've felt guilt as I recognize my own privilege and understand this hiatus is not a choice everyone is given. I've felt pride - for making active choices and owning up to my own decisions. This channel is one of them; an old, silly online diary that I used as a source of expression and memory-keeping, not knowing how many people would bother watching, let alone resonating with it. It’s grown with me all this time and I want to keep going.
So, whether you've been here from the start (and seen those embarrassing videos from 2020) or are here for the first time - thank you for giving me a little visit!
