Keep it simple- this is either a bad trailer plug connector or an open/high resistance, short to power or short to ground on white or blue wire.

Nice video. No need to remove the axle nut if youre just going to honk the knuckle down and lift the strut over it. Most people remove the cv shaft from the hub to gain more clearance...but ya cant argue with what works.
Dang I want one. I'm having trouble deciding between this and the 42" Husky 9 drawer with soft close drawers. 😮
That was not a 2018 Ford Edge. There is no place behind the engine to locate the control system, they have move the location.
pretty sure he say it's a 2013.

They didn't come with a puck spacer? Mid and Heavy duty trucks the Timbren should be touching when sitting on the ground....according to Timbren website i should say

for the next guy 105-158 degrees f is 16k-5k resistor , 231-266 degrees is 1.5k-0.8k resistor
Anyone know what anvil will fit the 1/4 high speed ratchet ?
I had recently installed a new master cylinder and somehow the float in the new one was not quite as big as the old one was. Pulling the cap off, and then turning the cap upside down turned the parking brake light off. So a new cap with float should fix the problem. Thanks for the video cuz it helped me narrow down a very frustrating problem with a really simple test. (Gen2 92 Integra, da). #gen2teg #daintegra #92integra
As a tech myself I had to get myself up to speed on this engine design - Brian from {FordTechMakuloco } here on you tube has a very good source in video's on this engine - 846 video's..He is the owner of BSM Motors and use to work as a ford tech till he went into business for himself helping the public. His video's are very easy to understand and you can almost train off of. I Very Highly recommend him...
2011 ford edge ,same code. Car shakes and dies at stop light sometimes then it's fine then its not. Going to replace this and hope thats the issue. No misfire codes, just the evap code and some o2 codes

@@willwork2fish261 brake booster had an extremely large leak. replaced it and problem solved.

I hate him for just continuing to dangle the suspension without the strut on the car.. the amount of pressure those control arm bushings are in... damn
You must highly certified worried about some downward stress on the bushings when the stress they face constantly in the opposite direction is about 10 fold.

Unless you’re main air supply is regulated below the maximum allowable pressure of your tank, please spend a few dollars on a gauge and don’t depend on the cheap relief valve to save your life. You’re family will be glad you did.
could also give you a bad 02 sensor reading bank 1 sensor 1

Great video!! I just had new struts put on my 2015 and after they put them on now i'm getting a banging noise from them. The tire shop said everything is tight and doesn't want to hear anymore about it. Sounds like the struct is moving around in the strut tower but the 3 bolts on top are tight. Any idea what it could be?
Some sort of joint, either in the knuckle, sway bar link, or tie rod.
@@JDL_MobileRepair maybe but both sides rattle now that they put the new struts on and the vehicle only has 45k miles on it so i don't think anything is worn out yet
@@ocappyman2572 interesting. You could be right, might be worth getting a jack and jackstands and getting the front end up im the air to assess the issue. $160-180 for those tools.
I had the same thing. The 3 nuts attach the strut housing to the car, but the nut that is on the spindle of the strut itself needs to be tightened to spec. “Shock Absorber Upper Nuts 21 ft.lbs”

Do you need to remove the steering tie rod end? I'm working on my car now and trying to avoid it..
You can always remove a tie rod at the ball joint and not ruin the alignment. Only time alignment is necessary is if you replace the tie rods.
My 2019 ST has the same code and it's the Evap purge valve.

@@roryjoseph7645 No, I have a guy, who works inside Ford. Confirmed the problem for me. Ford valve was on National Backorder. Ordered a Dorman replacement. Installed and problem solved. There are hundreds of RUclips videos covering this also. This valve should be part of the 60,000 mile maintenance!!!
I have a 2010 F-150 king ranch. I’m showing codes p0012 and p0022. I was driving and it started misfiring and shut off. Now it wont crank. My truck burned oil quicker than I thought so I was very low on oil. I refilled my oil to see if the pressure would engage it open. However no luck. Could it be destroyed?

Mine is stuck in acceleration mode. Is speeds up in reverse and drive. And high revvs in park like it wants to rocket to mars. What gives?

@@slowly6119 Yes. The throttle body flap was stuck completely open. I bought the used part in the summer since I couldn't find one online. I cleaned it before installing it but found a lot of gunk built up inside. I haven't used the car since installing the part but I warm the engine every once in a while. It's my rebuild project.
@@kizito8888 Awesome thanks i found my problem by going off of this comment, mine issue was FICV was stuck open with caused my surge and poor power, ordered a brand new throttle body but still waiting on the part. as this is my daily i’ve covered the hole inside of the TB with duct tape and so far it’s been working!
@@slowly6119 Duct tape? That's a good idea. But what happens if the tape peels off? Be safe out there. Glad you found a solution.
@@kizito8888 happened already since last commenting haha, the idle surge came back and stuck throttle feeling. popped off the intake box to get to where i left the tape. the tape had been have sucked into the rectangular hole. so i used gorilla glue tape instead and went over it again and it’s been fine since. still waiting on the part, not fun to drive 60mph like that!

What light did you use? Just interested in amber running light since that appears to be how you tapped into the wiring.

Got a zero turn in the shop doing the same thing. Customer said the blades came on for a few seconds then shut off. He replaced fuse. Blew the fuse again. He put in a bigger fuse. It burned out the PTO switch. That’s when he brought it to me. First thing I did was check resistance through the clutch. It was at 0.5 ohms. Boom, done, internal short inside the clutch. Replaced clutch. Problem solved.
Yeah all you have to do is adjust the Valve train
Why would adjusting the valves help the engine crank over more easily?
It helps if the valve lash is way too loose (big gap) causing the valve not open at the right moment thus compression buildup
So the cylinder can’t breathe during a cranking event but it can breathe just fine under load? 🤔 The math isn’t mathing lol
Doesn’t have to math. If the rockers are set loose, the valve opens too late. It can run like that, although not as well. But when it comes to cranking, it makes a huge difference. Save yourself the headache and adjust the valve lash.
