I would really start asking questions why a healthy and fit person is dealing with so many health setbacks. I think it may have to do with some famous elixir that was forced on people and they took it without actually trying to question the possible side effects….

An ambulance couldn’t come because you could talk that’s ridiculous

I find it so strange that the ambulance couldn’t come for you because you could talk! How ridiculous.

I had the exact same emergency surgery as Louise. Picture this: I was already doing the breast cancer chemo dance when my bowel decided it wanted a starring role in the drama. It perforated, and the contents decided to throw a party in my stomach cavity. The result? Immense pain and a diagnosis of peritonitis-yay me! Cue the ambulance ride of doom: every bump on the road felt like I was on the world’s most painful rollercoaster, but without the fun screaming. It was the longest ride of my life; I swear I aged a decade before we reached the hospital. Then came the dye contrast MRI-because my bowel had gone on strike and hadn’t made a sound in four days. Turns out, I had diverticular disease. But because I was on chemo, a bowel resection was a no-go (chemo and stomas don’t mix, apparently). Instead, they went for the less glamorous option: laparoscopic drainage and clean-up. Recovery? Oh, it made chemo feel like a walk in the park. I genuinely thought if the cancer didn’t get me, my rebellious bowel might! For the first time during my whole cancer journey, I broke down and ugly-cried. But, spoiler alert: I survived, and better yet-I’m now Cancer Free! 🎉 So yes, Louise, I totally get it. Bowel drama during chemo is a traumatic plot twist no one wants, but we’re here to tell the tale-and hopefully laugh about it later!

Also Louise you may not feel strong or feel that you have no choice , but it’s more about how you’ve chosen to navigate the hardships. You haven’t just given up on trying to have a life you enjoy. You constantly maintain a positive outlook and show gratitude for the good stuff. You could just complain and say it’s not fair and fall into a depressed slump but you keep getting back up and fighting back ❤

Goodness me you went already so so much in your life. I hope you will be on the healing path now. When you were talking about this excruciating pain I couldn't help but yet again think about this poor people especially children babies in Gaza now. Basic needs nkt provided amputations done without any drugs, burns on whoke bodies no medicine no pain relief. I have to say my soul is shattered as I see amount of suffering in this world and the way World doasnt listen look and do anything. I wish everyone in the world to have their needs a basic needs met.

So brave Louise to talk about your experience Re:internal inflammation pumpkin seeds are amazing, my partner suffered with prostrate inflammation after his back operation, he was on anti inflammatory drugs for over a year, eventually he tries pumpkin seeds which made a huge difference within a few days

i'm so glad you said that about infections. my amazing healthy cousin died at 51 suddenly from a flu that went septic... in one day he was gone... again you guys are raising awareness of something that's overlooked. thank you 🙏🏻

I have my own health problems, with endless appointments and upcoming surgeries, without anyone really to talk to about my anxieties and day to day experiences, so this podcast has been a blessing for me. Thank you to both of you for being so open. It shows such strength to go through this and then be so vulnerable and generous with what you share with us.

Re: nutrition has Louise been eating pumpkin seeds, they are the best natural remedy for internal inflammation -and full of protein, magnesium and other supportive vitamins/minerals Also castor oil to rub on her belly along with cbd oil for any pain she might be experiencing
