Footwork bro
Hahaha nice observation lol this isn't about footwork although it's the most important part of the fight game but in this video the focus is primarily on beginners blowing all their steam on less than productive punch out s
Shin guards for bagwork is wild😂
This during filming not training 😒
@@Goodfellowsmmasince the camera is on you it makes more sense that you have shin guards on 🤨?
Lol gotta look pretty
Yes, train and become relax with your guard lol why should a fighter learn guard muscle memory?
@kainhopjlpng guard position s should be automatically trained will your practicing all strikes in order to make they automatically and neurologically responsive with your striking so hands are always in position
In my experience, the calf kick hurts more than thigh.
I would agree 👍
Thank you for the video, will try this
Your very welcome hope it works out for you
???
????????? Yes
???
??
ok coach i understand it now
I'm glad you understand
Nice details of 1-2 leg kick, thank you for the video!
Thank you we're doing our best to provide quality information for everyone 👏
Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
Number two but also need your elbow protecting your face little better
Both are correct they're just used at different ranges
Kicked properly, thigh; bone, kicked, will put you down !
how about that opponent's left "Pereira"-hook that hits you in the jaw at the same moment when your hand goes back after the first hook? Just asking for a friend.
Tell your friend to keep his right hand up to block the left hook and to stop picking fights with Brazilian Prometheus lmao
@@nickgadd9163 LMAO 👏😂 yeah, I'll give him those important hands up-greetings and ask him to just keep doing tutorials with the armless opponent on RUclips.
Interesting you never mentioned how often Mike Tyson gets knocked out doing this very technique 👏 👌 👍
Also try to remember these techniques must have various factors to be applied in a fight game like slipping feints weaving in and so on
@@Goodfellowsmma well, now that you mentioned Mike, he rarely took a long step back and especially didn't drop his right hand from his cheek, but my comment wasn't meant to be too serious at all, mainly to spark a discussion about the fact that when you practice techniques, you try to do it from the beginning, considering the whole package with every detail.
Easy to fight someone with no arms :)
Even easier to fight someone with arms considering they can make mistakes not keeping their head covered or hands up thank you for your comment
Even easier to not fight at all, i bet that’s your method.
Nuts
🦵🦵🦵🦵🦵🦵
😂
Thigh is more immediate and immobilizing Calf you feel it the next day
Liver
Both
Both hurt but I think because the thigh has more mass and normally more conditioning the calf hurts more and can definitely slow your movements
The balls kick to the balls hurts more king of the hill.... that's not your purse women's defense classes
Love this combo. Good advice on the angles and sight-lines. Invisible rear leg is devastating
Why are people hating? This is something thats similarly done against me in Muay Thai sparring sessions and it does work in the first few times
It's like every technique it must have a proper timing and setup and creating an option is what real fighter's do.
The most reliable combo IMO. Especially on an untrained opponent aggressing you in a street fight.
I would agree and if you're kicking in self defense you want to optimize your chances of success especially on one leg 🦵
Love this
Yah leave ur elbow on the outside so when i land my foot after the kick, i can drive my 2 and feel your insides. Low 2, and a nice 3 after to finish will teach u to keep it inside.
Thanks for sharing!
I do karate which is bare knuckle so for me it depends on which one makes you land with the big 2 knuckles
Both can this technique is used at two different ranges short and longer
No! God no... NO!
Try it I've used in lots with success
Thats a good idea. I enjoy your videos
Glad you like them!
Man what a ridiculous technique. A questionmark has its own purpose, fake low aim high. Your kick is like a steven seagal move, it just doesnt exist
It's about as ridiculous as your observations this is simply the reverse application of a question mark kick if it's defended
Bro the dudes a bullshitsu expert, I only watch these shorts for a laugh... he's teaching people absolute bollocks...
Oh really, why don't you show him what a real MMA expert can do 😂 @nuuat-daeng
This will never work old man😂😂
Well that's up to your ability and training
@ nah, you just have a fake gym silly
@Prymed_Ronnee Hahaha nice 45yrs running a fake gym lol
@ if you had a real gym you wouldnt be answering me rn😂😂 im in your head from afar thats crazy😂😂
@@Prymed_Ronnee you’re starting beef online and disrespecting a martial arts coach, that’s crazy 😂
it's a 40/60 if hes throwing it to the inside or outside, by the time you react your dominant weighted leg is isolated because you've thrown up your rear leg, you will get deleted by a proper fighter. Goto your local MT gym and try this.
Obviously you never seen this used byThai fighter s
What about tall to short ?
It's great for short vs tall but tall already has the reachbut you have to watch the angle and not over swinging causing you to be more open with a short player under your defense
How exactly you are expecting to hit 2 movments while your opponent does nothing is beyond me
Do it when he side or round kick and it will work ❤ work well on your timing or if you want to be the agresor fake the leg rigth punch and use the momentum of the fake to head kick with the rigth leg fake the left kick and punch with Andy punch and bit by bit you will make it work for defense and atack ❤just my opinion I do that a lot in spar and it works sou I hope it works for something have a beautiful day ❤
This is all about timing and it most definitely works well in combat
Kimbo
Michael Jai white i believe showed Kimbo a drill like this
This is a veey practical skill in street fighting, and no gun saving me if i started with a kick and you just knocked me off
It's a great way to keep you in strike range to defend and retaliate your counters from
This works great. Good trick for side kicks too
You bet it helps to keep your striking range so you can instantly return striking
If only my non dominante foot WOULD FREAKING MOVE
Practice it till it will
Great advice
Dude ima use that in Com-Bat! N Ima tell ‘em it’s from you!
Lol send it
He could lift your heal and drop u if your options see it 😅
Hahaha well honestly in most case's they'll be pulling toes outta their teeth lol this is super slow just so you can see the slipping forward action of the support foot
Not just outside you left hand is everything inside the fight, for somebody who knows thd craft. Left hand must be positioned in front, you shin block will be intercepting low kick without lifting your leg to high. Impact must happened on upper part of the shin, puting your weight forward. By puting your weigh into the kick, you proceed forward with you jab, and connect with straight right, and what ever else you want to connect. When you block, you lift your leg only how much is necesery, you dont lift your leg to high!!!
Reminder this is a beginners mistake guide thank you for your indepth outlook on the technique
Lol gimme a break😂
Lol gimme your finger 👉 👈 👇 🫵 🤣 😂
I'm just curious why you need to do the block when you've already deflected the punch with the other hand. I got my black belt from Masami Tsuruoka, and he showed us the same thing, but it seems to only work against Karate attacks like the lunge punch in this video. I've never seen it done fast enough against someone doing two or three punches in a row and retracting their punches.
Technically it's not a block it's a bridging technique to allow you to enter into the bunkai grabbing, trapping, joint manipulation, and nervous system attacks. The bridging hand also begins to prevent them from retracting the arm back as you seized it.
@@Goodfellowsmma Do you think it would work against punches at all speed? A Karate lunge punch is easier to catch than jabs and crosses from a fighting stance. I'm just curious if these moves are meant more so for when someone grabs you, or you're in a clinch with them. I never see anyone use this technique when sparring.
These are not technically meant face direct punch for punch action as a whole but broken down the first portion is simply a pary as seem in boxing kickboxing and MMA always remember karate was originally designed for non consensual self defense not to face another trained combative sport
@@Goodfellowsmma Right. That makes sense. I'm just curious why it's not demonstrated against a realistic attack usually. A Karate lunge punch that's not retracted is more in the sport or consensual violence category. How would this move look if the opponent did two punches?
Technically if your in a self protection mode you should be attempting control through your own striking and grappling in order to control the aggressive behavior
None, 1) you are standing flatfooted 2) you need to stretch the foot on the Kneeing leg 3) keep Your guard High when kneeing ! 4) use a lot more body when delivering a knee, you are too stiff !! Greetings from Thailand 🇹🇭
I like the long guard myself; however, I am 6'2'' with monkey arms.
@ - exactly, High guard or Long guard, but never low guards, Muay Mat Will knock you the fuck out !!
Hahaha nice observation s glad someone can actually see things
@@matthewstoicism1485very nice

Please explain
1 is usually lengthened and becomes a type of jab. So 1 is not even a hook. With the knuckles down, it can never be a hook. Biomechanics
They're both hooks one has a biomechanical advantage because of your forearm flexes the other is to increase range of the hook
Idk but I feel like your not turning your hips nor your shoulders so both bad ?
Were only displaying hand positions not applications
Number 1 for me personally is for accuracy and number two I use it for power. Thanks for the videos btw I always watch them and try to apply your technique and knowledge into my own style
Awesome, thank you! For your comment and thoughts
My Thai boxing teacher told me that number two is the correct way for more power as you can ball your fist and tense your bicep in a more efficient manner.
They're for two different ranges when applying
Would you ever consider online training sessions?
Online training is coming soon 💪 so stay tuned 😎
@ awesome! Keep up the hard work and killer tips
