If you put it on a MagSafe mount it won’t go anywhere. Honestly, the magnets on the kickstand are WAY stronger than the standard MagSafe magnet. I even was able to put it on a squat rack and it stuck perfectly.

the 16 is an amazing device, and probably an even better value for the money compared to the pro!

Thank you! Torras advertises "military grade drop protection" for up to 12ft of fall damage. Who knows what that means though. From my own experience, these cases have been the most protective while being the most comfortable and easy to hold/grippy. I'm not ashamed to say that I dropped my phone a few times, and was pleasantly surprised that the device and case was completely unphased.

I don’t think so, I didn’t experience any compromised audio during calls or during regular listening. Most cases have a small inset to account for the speaker and it does the job just fine.

First off, I'm sorry to hear about that - that's a frustrating experience. I only tried it with the Belkin MagBoost charger, which is a wireless magsafe charger and it worked just fine. I assume that it's a fault with the case, could you return it and try a new one? This shouldn't be happening with this case, especially if it's the magsafe variant.

@柚恩 honestly this is probably one of the lighter cases! Some cases I tried were closer to 50g. I think that the Spigen Ultra Hybrid (not the “T” version) that does not have the camera control cover would probably be a little bit lighter.

I totally agree with you in that AI will definitely not instantly make your life better. It’s going to be many years before it’s a genuine/helpful tool. As for right now, it’s a matter of principle though. Apple is marketing features for a device that won’t be ready for months, so I think it’s important to call them out on that. And I agree with that, it won’t be that much different of an experience from any device sells the last 3 years. Like I said in the video, if I didn’t get a great deal from T-Mobile I wouldn’t have upgraded. I’m all about finding value/a good deal with tech!

Honestly, I think that the 16 Plus is the buy of the year - great choice. I almost did the same with the teal if T-mobile didn't offer such a good deal - I probably would have done that. Enjoy the new device!

@@ConstantineKnowsTech lol yes I totally agree as well it’s a great buy it has some pro features but not all I originally was gonna go with the 16 pro. But I decided to just go with the 16 plus because I wanted better battery life , nice screen, and decent cameras. I really wanted to upgrade to 256gb that’s why I bought the 16 plus to I have it in 256gb and I’m used to the 60hrz refresh rate coming from the iPhone 14 Plus.

Completely agree. If I wasn't used to the 120hz refresh rate I would absolutely do the same. Especially since the 16/16 plus still gets all the apple intelligence features - hopefully comes out next week!

I'm using the 16 Pro in the video! I have my old Pixel 6a that I use to test android and for backup footage.

It’s a bummer, Spigen is choosing to make certain cases only for the pro models. I think it’s a bad look and neglects a huge customer base.

That will be a solid upgrade! I would say go to the Apple Store and see the size differences, as I said in the review, the regular pro is the perfect size for me. But the camera, screen, and battery upgrade will be quite noticeable coming from the 11 pro max.

Not for me. II think the thermal improvements even over last year make it a must for me. I don't get the throttling and dimming anywhere near as much.

The thermals and the increased battery life have been one of the more noticeable updates

@@mehrabjubo878 I would go with Spigen. Although Apple's clear case is good, it's twice as expensive and it doesn't cover the bottom of the device, making it less protective. Spigen also offers this case in a black option so hopefully that one doesn't have the same tenancy to turn yellow. I hope this helps!

I completely agree! This has been my go to case for many years, this is the first time I won’t be using it. Hopefully they come out with a revised version in time.

It stays on the phone very firmly, I have no issues whatsoever. It's much better than the apple case since it has full coverage, including the base where the charger is. Another benefit is that it has raised edges on the corners/camera housing so it even rocks less when laying flat.

I totally get that, it definitely “pops”. Fortunately Spigen does sell one in black, hopefully that one is a bit more subtle?

@CharismaSpencer they've gotten better year over year but I would say that all clear plastic cases yellow over time. Spigen also sells a frosted black version which should be more resistant to yellowing.

Great question! When using the flashlight/flash, the top of the clear case does light up a little bit and show a little light. That being said, when I tried it out with photos/videos I didn’t notice any impact.

The unfortunate truth with clear cases - I expect this one to do the same unfortunately. Looks great when it’s new though!

Absolutely, I totally agree. This is my first year in many years I won’t be using a Spigen as my go to. That being said, I hope that in time they improve their designs and some better options come out!

I have to disagree that they've dropped the ball this year. Reasoning is they are among the few ones who has implemented camera control cover in their ultra hybrid T collection. So they do think about how the camera control is used. They don't cover the camera control in other cases, say this rugged armour case for iPhone 16 Pro/PM because they coultn' figure out the way to blend the material of the camera cover with their TPU based cases. I think Spigen knows what they are doing for the cases with the camera control cutouts. They deliberately leave more spaces around the actual camera control because the exact cutout with tapped edges don't work quite well. It Is evident and has been experienced with other RUclipsrs reviewing the cases.

@@alau0115 I totally agree with you on how they have other cases that cover the camera control and one of the few companies that are doing it, which is awesome. I even did a review of the hybrid ultra-t and gave it a glowing recomendation. As for the rugged armor, I think that this is just up to personal preference. I personally don't like an exposed edge when using a thick case, but I can totally understand how functionally it works a lot better for the camera control. That being said, Spigen is a great company and has something for everyone!

I totally agree, the grip on this case is better than almost any other case out there. Definitely still worth it, but I just couldn’t get used to the cutout. Enjoy the case!

@1002szymcio Unfortunately the watch charger is the standard 5W of power so it isn't fast charging capable. That being said, I've been using it ever since I purchased it and feel as if it charges faster than the standard apple watch charge. I hope this helps!

@avfc1956 I’ve been using it for the last week or so and I’ll say that it is definitely more lint/dust resistant than before. I think it also doesn’t show fingerprints as much. That being said, it still is silicone so it eventually does pick up dust/animal fur. It looks quite slick though. I just got a new spigen case, stay tuned for a video shortly - Thanks for watching!

@wayne69wayne69 I’ll say that it is more durable/drop resistant than a minimalist case - the raised edges on the front and camera housing definitely protect it. It doesn’t have the same protection level as a more rugged case. It’s a good balance of minimalist yet protective, probably well suited for everyday use/office environment but not a construction site. I hope that helps!
