Profanity Chute, Mt. Mansfield - Above Treeline Vermont Skiing at Stowe
Просмотров 40 тыс.4 года назад
Early morning skin up to the Profanity Chute off the summit of Mt. Mansfield. Wider and less steep than the Hourglass Chute, Profanity Chute is a fun and accessible route. From the top of the Stowe gondola, hike up the "Hiking Chute" to the top, at which point take a right. Profanity is about 100 yards across the ridge from the top of the hike. The hike is fairly easy, taking most 20-30 minutes...

I remember seeing people go up to that "trail" while i worked there for the end of the season......its out of the boundaries of the resort. when you get off the gondola there are signs that say to ski it at your own risk its out of bounds of the resort but i think ski patrol might be able to get you if needed

Painful. We get amazing days & big average snowfalls in the "snow corner" of VT. This was terrible. Also, use those pole straps(provided you do it correctly to avoid hand/arm injuries). Still, props for getting out there & earning your turns. ✌🏽
