I like Robert his santsangs have a lasting affect, but there is no record of him being at Ramana ashram, I believe he stated Osborne let him use his car which was denied by katya Osbourne stating they never owned a car and the family did not drive. She stated Robert never stayed in their house and she knew nothing regards Robert, did Robert even meet Ramana, doubtful if one will ever know..was he just a fantasist????

If you were truly Self-realized, you would acknowledge the value of the ego and the dangers in connection with having ones ego destroyed prematurely. You don't know who you are talking to. You are spreading these unhealthy ideas indiscriminately. To claim you are some great ego killer shows the biggest ego. None of the great masters ever assumed upon themselves the task of killing the ego's of others. Thats your personal interpretation of their interaction with people. And it can't be done, not without damaging that person. It's like trying to forcibly mature a fruit before its time. You destroy that fruit. The most one can do is to assist in the ripening of a fruit. And then it becomes a matter of growing out of the ego and into the Self. Trying to kill it is stupid and dangerous. It's as stupid as trying to kill the placenta before the baby is born. Imagining that the baby would be free without it. Once the focus naturally seeks to remain on the Self, that makes the ego subside. But that takes maturity. Not the frustrated will of a spiritually immature child. Having ones focus on killing the ego shows a infantile premature fixation.

I don’t know if it is called an ego or just the lower nature, but the title you give it doesn’t matter. All I know is that I worked for around 20 years and left my job and invested in real estate and was financially free but I made one wrong move and ended up losing almost everything. I did get used to that way of life and now it’s gone and I don’t have any pleasure at all and I have nothing but regret as I revisit that move that caused everything to crumble. The depression and regret is so bad that I ended up turning to drug abuse. Not proud of it, but that’s the way it goes.

There is no evidence he ever went and his stated accounts are at odds with any records and even the physical description of the geography. More details of the controversy can be found via a simple web search. I wonder how people hearing these words react to this? I have my own opinion but I would be interested to know what others think.

I find the trouble is not in being disillusioned with the berries. Even when I'm eating the ones I like, I know they are nothing. But when I fly around the tree and look upwards, I just don't seem to have the power to rise any higher. No matter how hard I flap my wings, I stay at the same level. It has been this way throughout my life. After 70+ years of flapping my wings, I'm so tired, I have no choice but to just eat the sour berries - and, even they are running out!

So they had to name it so everyone could understand what it was. To give this species a name was to give it an ego. The someone knew this and named the species after themselves. They called it Bullsh!t. Someone only went to the rain forest in your mind. It’s all made up.
