Much appreciated thank you instructional video where you're actually show how to do stuff revolutionary
Garnet Branch
@@IssacMcgraph-z9c I don't understand your comment.
Thanks for the video. Fixed my problem.
How do loosen the top. You skipped it. Does not come loose!
thanks guy!
Thankyu
I wish you would have shown actually taking the cover off. I cannot get it free from the clips on the top
@erinwhiterealtor5947 i think you tilt out from the bottom and push up. Basically the top drops into slots vertically. That's my memory anyways Be careful not to break the plastic
Did not work.
Thank you so much for this video
After removing the cover is possible to access the point where the pan meets the condensate hose? Without any more disassembly? I think I have a blockage there or down the line. I'd rather try blowing air from this end because the hose exits on a roof that is hard to get to.
Was able to get the cover off. I had to remove it with the front door attached, because the installer mounted the unit less than an inch below a ridge beam! The front door can only swing up 2 inches because of that- the door would need to swing up higher to release it from the cover. After removing the cover the access to the drain in the pan is not perfect, because the evaporator coil tubing runs in front of it. I actually used the outer rubber jacket of a heavy duty 12/3 power cord inserted into the drain hole attached to my air nozzle to first fill with water and then blow out the line.
@running_rich Yeah, the wall units are terrible to work on.
I get dizzy,,
Doesnt help - You dont show how to actually remove the plastic, especially the hooks in the back. You went from the hand movement "it rotates " to a different unit with it off. BTW this is identical to the Frigidaire some people have.
Huge help thank you
Thank you very much! You just saved me a costly repair bill on something so simple!
OH we just loaded ours, with stretch wraps, and THEN found the shipping/things. What is their purpose? What happens if you don't use them? EGADS!!!
From what I understand it keeps the tub stabilized during transport to protect the suspension springs and the tub.
@@dpeagles Oh thank you! With your video I had the courage to try it. My Duet's are a 2006 model. Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not...but the threads those bolts needed to join to were nearly impossible to reach! We could only get three with the red thingy. One Is just the screw and the nut. And I don't think any of them seated at a neutral angle-meaning stripped the threads. Gosh it was so frustrating. ~ Thanks for taking the time to post your discovery/method. It sure helped!
With all the bulls shit videos out there, yours was helpful. Thanks.
Ivehad my set over 15yrs. No issues until now. Thank you so much for this video. I wished we would all help each other a little more than we do. God bless you.
Bought ours in 2009. They have been great. Which is rare these days.
Dude this was so helpful!!! Thank you, fixed my in about 10min
We did this , cleaned out a ton of gunk and it ran great for a couple of weeks but it’s throwing the code again. It won’t spin on a normal cycle, the clothes are soaked , so then I run the spin only and it will do that cycle just fine .. I don’t know what to do to run a full cycle . Any thoughts ? Thank you so much for your video
Maybe unplug the appliance for a few minutes. Also check the drain again in case more junk was in the pipe. 🤷
Hello i bought a carrier mini split 53ELQ121C which supposedly offers heating and cooling. I had it installed today and the technician said that the mini split does not have the connections for heating. I bought it specifically for both. What is wrong?
Not sure. I'm having trouble finding the manual here in the U.S. for this model. It should have a remote control. Does it allow you to put into heat mode?
@@dpeagles it does allow me to put it in heat mode. I am in Mexico. The 53ELQ121C is probably sold only in Mexico but it is part of the carrier elite series. When i put it in heat mode it does absolutely nothing. I also have an LG with cool and heat mode and it instantly starts heating. The box it came in says cooling and heating but the technician said it was missing the connections and he assumed it was only for cooling
@@aragornii507 I would contact technical support. I don't know enough about those particular units. Sorry I don't know more about it.
@@dpeagles ok thank you
I’m used to the F codes for a clogged filter but the 5ud threw me for a loop, thanks for the fast fix! My kids are banned from washing cheap no show socks now, got past the filter, jammed the pump itself.
I wish all how to videos were so simple and to the point. Thank you.
I'm with you. Two minutes of intro then five minutes of rambling. It's very annoying.
Thank for the post! It was the worst investment I was ever been CONed into.. Carrier was a name you could trust! Wrong! Carrier had to send technicians out every other month to keep it going until the warranty was up… they always gave me “ parts are on back order for your unit we will call you when it is in” So glad it is over .. we are having an new Mitsubishi unit in This week! Carrier is not a good company anymore… buyer beware! But people seeng this video I figure knows the deal!
Oh man, that is terrible. I know one thing for sure...the product literature was lacking. I was not impressed.
Best video straight to point
Thanks compadre! I actually installed this thing about 5 yrs ago... forgot about the hidden fasteners.
I agree. I cannot get the top loose.
Say Steve, there 3 pins that look like nails, they were sitting at the bottom, looking to stall where do they go
I'm not sure what you mean.
What a nice guy you are. The jerk driver collides with another car, an innocent driver, and you laugh.
Yeah, it was hilarious. Everyday some a hole races by others drivers in the right lane before the lane runs out. It's a 35mph zone and the guy raced around me like I was holding him up. I was doing 42-43mph. He got what he deserved
@@dpeagles If only the idiot that raced around you wrecked his car, I would think you were right to gloat. But he crashed into another driver's car and you still laughed without a thought to that person, whether they were hurt or not. You're not a nice person.
Hey! May I feature this video in an upcoming compilation? Credit, links in the description, and name on screen will be provided.
hi there
Hello dpeagles, can I use this video "DASHCAM FOOTAGE OF DODGE TRUCK IN TOO BIG OF A HURRY HIS BRAKES SUCK." on my channel? Is there any update? Where did it happen?
You can use it. This happened on hwy 218 and I-485 in Mint Hill NC. The dodge and I were traveling east on 218. He apparently never saw the light turn red until it was too late, especially at his high rate of speed. This is a 35mph zone where drivers will often race around people on the right because the road widens from two to four lanes just in the area around the bridge. Then it necks back down to two lanes. I was doing about 42mph with my cruise control set. So I was actually speeding myself yet still not going fast enough for this jerk. I actually contacted the Highway Patrol to let them know I had video if needed. They never contacted me for the video.
@@dpeagles thank you
Hi dpeagles, could I feature this clip on my channel? Any comment? Thanks
Sure.
I was traveling about fifty mph. I was on the brakes very hard which isn't very noticeable from the video. It was very close. Abs did activate
Thank you! I had the suds error and I pulled 3 toddler socks out of there! I ran a cleaning cycle afterward and two more socks magically appeared in the empty wash barrel. Great set of washer and dryer we've had for 13 years, but no joke it eats socks.
These have been great machines for us.
I can't even get the panel cracked open like you start with at the beginning of the video!
Saved me - thanks
Thanks! worked ...
Great!
Also the same way as the old model Senville Aura series(exact same unit)
I have to do that when I get the F21 error. I just got the SUD error and was researching it. It means there is too much suds. I left it and after a couple of minutes it solved itself and is running again as we speak.
This is NOT why you get the suds error. Just so everyone realizes this. Yes you need to keep this drain trap clean, but the suds error stems from using too much soap causing your analog pressure switch to fail or send false signals to the ccu which stalls the cycle/drainage.
Well, anecdotal evidence says otherwise. My personal experience as well as many comments here shows that cleaning this area fixes the problem.
Hello sir, Thanks for sharing the video! Could you please let me know if Retrax Pro leaks? I was watching a video of someone else and he said his Retrax pro leaks. Thanks
At the tailgate some rain will get in.
Thank you sir for the information!
You rock! Thank you so much for doing this, our washer is fixed!
Thank you thank you thank you!!!! Your video was so helpful.
You will want to use a wet vac to suck out any water in the tub and then open the cleanout drain VERY SLOWLY and suck up the water as it seeps out around the cleanout. If you don't then all that water will end up on your floor. I learned this the hard way.
Apparently the cables are hard to come by and now are over $80. Do you by any chance have the ability to post the pinout of the superflo cable
I can't post the exact link but, Google superflo communication cable. Then select images. You see a diagram of the cable wiring. It's also in the superflo manual if you still have it.
@@dpeagles well the diagram just shows the cable colors.. But I need to know what pins in the cable correspond to which colors and/functions.
@@fl_omar What you can do is get a multimeter... Start measuring voltage to a ground on the pump. One of the pins will have 5volts feeding out of the motor. Once you find the 5 volt power feed you will need to find the ground using ohms. Once you know those two pins use a jumper from the 5volt power pin to each pin (non ground) in turn to see how the pump reacts.
Yeah.. I was gonna do that but the issue is that there's Rs485 on the bus.. And I don't want to smoke that transceiver
thanks . Thiis video was very helpful and my drain was badly clogged .The only problem is that the SUD error didn't disappear after cleaning out the drain , it's still flashing . Any thoughts?
I would try unplugging the machine for five minutes the plug it back in. That's all I can think of.
@@dpeagles wow it worked ! I wish you the best in life . thanks for helping out so many of us, living on a tight budget .
Thank you!!!
Thanks man
I never thought this video would get so many views. I'm glad it is helping people since carrier didn't seem to want to give instructions.
