Oh man, just got one of these and kinda regretting it. Sorry I know this vid is old. - Beautiful car but if I sneeze, a part falls off of mine. I can fix that but the other issues are rough. - Coupler height. Removing the metal washers helps but it may require a set of low profile trucks and/or 33" wheels to help get that down. This kinda undoes the whole "prototype accurate" aspect of these cars, but a car that doesn't run well is worse. - The derailing issue. The leading wheelset on each truck barely touches the rail on mine so the slightest tip lifts that flange right over the rail. I am pondering filing an angle on the bolster to encourage the wheels to settle but that's tricky if you get it wrong. Another idea is to attempt to force a bow into the deck pushing the ends down slightly, also helping with the coupler height issue some. But that sounds like hours of fixing detail parts that pop off. - There is no room for added weight without destroying the beautiful underside detail or adding a weighted load. It needs a metal center beam or other parts to get it up to weight being a flatcar. I'm going to ponder this a while, but I may scrap the details that aren't visible from the side and install fitted hidden weight and try to flex the deck a bit. It would still be a good looking car. Resale is already blown from all the rework I've already done trying to get it on the rails. Love my other ExactRail cars though :(

Oh, yeah, I was wondering if anyone else had this issue as well. I recently bought it and would have probably not it if I had known about this. Also, does anyone else's flatcar have titling issues? Mine does for some reason and keeps on tilting in one direction.

I've seen people make these with packing peanuts to replicate a bullet, so that it fits better in a cartridge box and makes people feel more authentic to the actual size and feel of a cartridge. Isn't this bad for the environment if a field was littered with these blanks? Do you recommend making them with or without packing peanuts? How are cleanups done, unless the paper is biodegradable? Thanks

Just got me a factory new m4sa serialized older version like yours! These are much more authentic feeling and looking compared to the newer m4ce serialized versions.

I got mine back in May and I ran it tonight started out great and then when I went to take off it shut off but somebody on her Facebook group told me that the operators version I had to put it on a different track and different power pack and he said it fired right up he had issues with his so hopefully I will be able to put it on a different track with a different power pack and it should work

Does this FN version of M4 have the heavy barrel without m203 cuts? I ask because I know Colt’s version has the m203 cuts on their SOCOM barrels.
