The company is total rubbish. I was stupid and tried to order this for my mom’s Acura(I have an OBDEleven for my VW that is GREAT)& somehow at checkout I ended up buying some software that dosent even include the scanner. I spent $118. I clicked the “Premium Package which “includes a free SCANNER” & somehow days Later after asking about said scanner delivery…they told me “a refund is not possible”…but “ I can get 10% off the scanner”…absolutely RIDICULOUS. I’m currently trying to get refund via PAYPAL however CARLY keeps saying “once I’ve bought software a refund is not possible”…not only have I not downloaded any “software”…I don’t even know where to download it from. And it would be WORTHLESS because I don’t have the scanner. And all this after spending a few days making sure they don’t keep charging me every year….i thought that was the main issue with this company…but it’s bad all around

I have just bought and paid the for the Carly Premium Package (annual subscription) which includes the scanner at no extra cost, and thought it was a great deal however reading through most user reviews it seems that they have a bad customer support and, supposedly, still charge you annually, despite unsubscribing for their Premium membership? I have yet to receive the product, but I am just Joe Average that wanted a simple device with a variety of options. I now understand that I could have bought cheaper alternatives. But is it true? Do they still charge you annually even though I want to cancel my membership, say a year from now? I understand that the scanner only works with their app, so it will be a a pretty useless device then without a membership, but oh well... Also, I looked around the internet and found what is believed to be a "hacked" version (paid/subscription) of the Carly app with all the Premium features. Has anyone actually tried it and can confirm if it works/doesn't work? If it indeed does work as intended, it would be a major F*CK YOU to Carly.

This happened to me. You can talk to customer services and they can give you lifetime access again as you were grandfathered in when puchasing lifetime services.
