I have a 2017 ram 1500 with projector factory lights… those trucks were know for horrid lights all around. Upgraded to the tiny monster extremes and holy shit it’s a night and day difference. Aiming them took a few spins but they’re clocked right and wow they are BRIGHT. Worth the 248.00 spent. Very pleased with these LEDs. Gonna upgrade the fogs to tiny monsters and get rid of the shitty sealight bulbs from Amazon.

Great info! Your next video should be about a used truck for snow plowing. Like what to look for, what are red flags, should they already have a snowplow prep package in that used truck? Are you going to need Timbrens? Etc.

Grill guards are useless wastes of money. We started out with a Ranch Hand GG, and in a minor rear-end accident with a much smaller/lighter vehicle... the GG completely folded up, crushing the hood, fender, grill, and cooling components behind it. This was due, not to the weakness of the steel guard, but the way it's mounted to the truck, via brackets bolted around the bumper. In contrast, a full bumper replacement is mounted to the frame itself. Both look good, but only one actually provides actual protection, and will (in most cases) allow you to drive away from the scene of an accident.
