You know..... i had a whole other thought about DoDo..... For me, "MORE" does not equal "BETTER" for the simple reason that More comes at the cost of who you lose in the rotation, not to mention disturbing the rotation .... So far, everyone is interested in adding Do as PF, and everyone knows that he's a 4-3 at best... So the real question here is... Who would he replace on the Mavs? Certainly not Maxi! .... a 4-5 and has been used a lot at the 5 in small ball...... not PJ of course, or Jaden, maybe O-Max but we don't even know his upside yet.... maybe Quent but he's a lot cheaper..... However, we DO have ONE PLAYER who plays the 3 making $17M@yr and is only OK on D..... Klay Thompson!!!! For an even swap, i' would actually rather have DoDo back, keep Maxi and our FRP. and Do could easily start at the 3! ..... and without a messy line-up shuffle ........ THAT would make a difference!!

We need a bigger guy that is closer to being a center than a wing. Someone like Maxi that can defensively make D Live's and Gaff's job a lot easier, especially if one of them-or both get into foul trouble. Maxi is ok, but he's not what he once was on offense. We forget too quickly how big of an impact he made against Clippers in the playoff run. There's like 10 guys you can choose from on this team that can deliver 20 points on a good night.. DFS isn't an upgrade for this team just cause he gets more buckets in a game.

I have the same opinion about DoDo that i did for Klay..... "If you can get him for the right price, it would be a good addition" and that's what happened..... and the starting price is a #1 plus Klay-like-figures in money..... THAT is the MOST i would pay for another aging player on this team.... but to add O-Max to the deal would be insane, or for that matter almost any of the kids on this team. Frankly, i don't think you trade the future for the present or they will start to look like the JerryBoys!..... for no money at all, we can find more value in O-Max who could be in the rotation soon..... but if the stars align like it did for Klay, i am all for it but just hell no on a trade that shakes this team up again and sends our future elsewhere......

The best trade I’ve heard is using our 2 firsts and maxi, and possibly a young guy(maybe hardy or omax), for doe doe and Larry nance jr. Those 2 additions without losing anything more than maxi, a young guy and 2 firsts would create a dynasty where we are going to multiple finals over the next 7 years and we win at least 2

I'm pro DFS, but Maxi, Omax and a FRP is too much for DFS. Nico does well drafting players also, so don't take the FRP lightly.

DFS for Maxi and Omax is a good trade. Adding a late first round pick probably is worth it but I don’t like giving it up.
