2024 Suzuki GSX-8R | Akrapovic Sound Check
I swear I'm still alive! Been a little busy with family and work, plus the weather has been a real downer. Anyway, I know I've been slacking, but check out this video of my GSX-8R with its new Akrapovic exhaust! I feel like this exhaust has really changed the entire soul of this bike. What's next? Well, I'm working on getting a tune, unfortunately the guy I'm going to use is super busy. But it's happening!
Oh, I picked up some new video and audio gear as well. I'm still a few weeks away from getting my garage back from the Boomer 'Vette (teased in this video) but expect more face time with me!

2023 Ducati DesertX | First Ride and Thoughts

The Ducati DesertX has got to be one of, if not, the coolest adventure bikes for sale today, and I got to take one out for a ride! Although it was a brief demo ride, it was really cool getting the chance to hop on one of my favorite bikes. It has awesome looks, excellent power, handles like a sport bike, and sounds sick. Oh, it's also so tall! I think I mention that once or twice throughout thi...
Quad Lock Installation Guide For The Yamaha R3 and Suzuki GSX-8R

Here's a quick guide to installing a Quad Lock with two different methods, the fork stem on the 2024 Suzuki GSX-8R and the stem nut for the 2023 Yamaha R3. This guide should apply to any bike that accepts a fork stem or stem nut type mount. For the R3 stem nut, I highly recommend sticking to the 30 ft/lbs spec from MNNTHBX. I know I didn't use it in the video, but I did go back and make sure it...

What i m curios to know is ,dont u nullify ur guarantie by mounting a new exhaust ? If bike has problema during those 3 years i can take it to dhe dealer and they work on it for free but if u put other stuff on it it should invalidate it as i know

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act states a warranty cannot be nullified by the use of aftermarket parts, unless it’s proven the part itself caused the issue. Obviously this only applies to the US.

Looking at either an old cruiser 750 or an r3/similar as a first bike. I usually take the highway which is no more than 5-10 miles one way. Would it still be good to purchase? I’m not planning to go higher displacement.

I had my sights set on the R7 as well but, being honest with myself, I have no use for the power and torque of the R7 besides posing and putting myself in danger. Most people would consider this too small a jump to bother but here's the thing. It's a huge jump because you're going from a city bike to a do-it-all bike that can do highways just fine, plus I am NOT on my way to a liter bike, I don't have an ultimate goal besides my bike being good for everything.

You beat me by 3 weeks! Picked up mine up not long after you (same color even). You're not kidding about it having some sport touring ability. I rode 238 miles on a Sunday not too long ago here in Northeast Tennessee. Got home and had a few things to do, but I could have gone back out for more. First service complete, and right afterward I tore into it to complete a host of engine intake and exhaust upgrades, along with a tune from 2WDW. Its no longer the same bike, as it feels like the motor has gone up an entire class. It wasn't cheap, but I generally keep my bikes a long time, so its worth it to me. Been riding sport bikes street and track for over 3 decades. Suspension is next. I have to say this bike has been the most interesting thing Suzuki has come out with for a very long time. I owned a Suzuki TL1000R for nearly 20 years and sold it when I relocated.... felt a little weird, like I was selling my dog or something. Enjoy that bike, seek training as much as you can.
