I will never forget the Sunday God revealed 1 Peter 3 to me. Since then, I’ve been desiring to be a better wife-gentle and quiet spirited with the help of Holy Spirit. Yes, I’m serving my husband with a loving heart because I want to serve the Lord. I will speak life over my husband and pray for him 🙏🏽. Amen, fulfillment comes from the Lord. When both husband and wife are focused on God, everything else falls into place. I just found Janae too! You both are my new found motivators 😊. I will check out her video too. It’s time to declutter 😅 (minimalist needs to declutter too 😊) And oh yes, if only we can spend less time cleaning and be more intentional with family time. Cleaning/tidying does take up all the energy which results in no time or energy for those that matters most 😢 (hubby, kids, hosting the hurting….. “PEOPLE” not “STUFF” is what truly matters AND loving them like Christ 😊. If I may ask where did you get your apron? Also I’m a 20 year old woman with a 22 year old man, sometimes I find myself struggling to remain truly feminine, I sometimes find it hard to feel loved by god due to childish mistakes I have made. I grew up in a household where both my parents were religious but one was catholic the other was Christian. I’ve truly never understood which path to go, I’ve been praying more and such but was wondering what bible is the best? I got a New Testament one but didn’t realize it’s literally just them summarizing it , I want to feel fully connected to god and learn to be more submissive to my significant other

Submission is beautiful...when the husband is worthy. If he isn't it's a catastrophe.

I grew up being taught feminism and also had a hard first year of marriage. Submission is so important to a healthy marriage. As well for me, taking the Sabbath seriously is important. I used to think that it was just an old testament thing but then why would we follow the other 9 commandments but not that one? I begged God ans cried to him for rest and peace for years but I wasn't taking a hold of the rest He had already given to me. Take the Sabbath as the good gift that it is!

This is hard in my marriage not because I don’t want to submit. But I am a believer and my husband is not. My husband also from his up brining does not want to make choices, he does not take leadership. Also because of his up bringing he can be harsh to the kids and I know he doesn’t mean to be. I keep repeating the verse that they can be saved without a word but by her actions. I pray that this will happen in my marriage. I don’t want to take leadership but when the husband won’t you have to out of necessity. If anyone reads this please pray for my marriage.

Hi Destiny, I love submitting to my husband. He doesn't abuse it in any way. Like you said, it's the way God ordered it. I love my husband being head of my home and me ( he's under God of course). I make our home a happy place that he's excited to come home to. We are retired now and we both love Just being together as much as alwsys. We are best friends. I love that he protects me and makes the decisions in our home. He honors me by talking with me about decisions. He's not my boss, he never bosses me around. We are very kind to each other and I love that. I wish all young married couples had what we have. Ty for sharing this topic.

This video was such a blessing to me and came at the perfect moment. I am weeping as I write this as I just received a phone call from my brother that he and his wife decided to separate. He just recently came to the Lord while she is still practicing new age. I know this is spiritual warfare and I pray that God moves in their lives and softens both of their hearts. This was also a great reminder for me to stay fully surrendered to the Lord at all times and to my husband. Thank you for this message for me from the Lord. God bless you and your family. ❤🕊

I can relate whole heartedly to your testimony. I had the same questions and then I realized why it happened and how great He is. We get to share His Glory with others. For a long time when I first came to Christ the scripture verse Joel 2:25 helped me. God promises to restore what the locusts have eaten. He did!! I am thankful you shared. ❤🤗

I just found your channel a few weeks ago, but I've been enjoying your videos. I love that your's isn't like all the other channels that don't seem to understand living on a very low budget while doing it healthy and honoring God. I appreciate this video as a wife of almost 17 years. We struggled very much through many years of our marriage. I feel like marriages are unintentionally set up to fail nowadays. When people tell young couples about submitting, they make it sound as if it's either only in intimacy or to always accept everything he does and says as right rather than working together and respecting him as the head decision maker as long as he's obeying God. It still takes being intentional through the hard times after all these years, but it certainly makes a difference, and I try to always teach my kids that the order is God, husband over the wife and family, and wife to help her husband and care for the family.

Decluttering

OOf. Had to pause the video and write this comment - I can SO relate to everything you've said thus far. (I'm at the 3:32 mark) but what hit was the saving things from my current kids for future kids. And I am glad you said this. I save pretty much everything still in decent shape, clothes, shoes etc. because it all adds up when you buy it new. I don't thrift because honestly there isn't a good thrift store I've found near me yet. That being said, thats kind of my motivating factor to keep everything - however, like you said, it does often cause me more stress because even though I try to organize things in bins labeled with what it is and the size of it, things still get jumbled. I'm like oh gosh everything will take me like an entire weekend to sort through whenever I get pregnant again - is it even worth it... and this was kind of the nudge I needed to realize yes, I can save some things, but not much. Crib sheets, a few jackets, some clothes yes, but not as much as I have. I want to donate some. Because honestly, at this point, even if I were to get pregnant today, saving things from my girls now- the baby wouldn't even fit it until like 4 years from now. So is it really worth keeping and looking at the clutter of it for 4 years just to save a few dollars? I think not. So thank you for the nudge to let go of some things!

I'm heading out tomorrow for a camping trip. To make things easier, I dehydrate or freeze dry various components of a meal or meals already ready. Also, I keep the meals simple and repetitive. I had planned a solo trip, however all of my children and grandchildren will visit my camp site at some point. Some will stay the night - my site is good gor 2 tents. We sing praises to the Lord not just by literally singing, but by the way we live our lives. 😊 We cannot praise him uf we are not content and truly submitted to his will. So, if we find it a struggle to praise him then we must check ourselves.... are our hearts truly saying, "not my will but thine be done."
