Such a stupid fake hotel
Quit handling it by the crown Hollywood style. The Ol master hatters always advocate two hands front and back by the brim laid upside down on the crown when not wearin.
That's good advice, thank you.
Nothing miraculous at all. 😅 Stable DNA structure basically.

3 MONTHS IT TOOK, i BELIEVE.... HOLY TRINITY!!!
@@LovingLife-333 I've seen some of the comments saying that, but I have a few mixed sources. Either way it's pretty incredible
I'm not even sure why your channel was recommended but i watched it. It then took me down a rabbit hole of hat videos including a tour of Stetson. Having watched them all, I think I'd rather buy my hat from Raul than the others. The others come preshaped and they just tweak them. Raul made yours specifically for you!
@@ParryPickleballking-es2el someone local who loves what they do is the best. He gave me the history of hats and felts also, his boss walked up and said, "has he started talking about the mating habits of beavers yet?"
The number of people who get lost in the feeling when they're there, buy a hat and never wear it again must be huge
😂 that's probably true. I wish we could set up a donation service to get those hats back into circulation for those of us who can't afford the top dollar ones.
@@josephlearnstheworld that would be an awesome idea! You should try and start something like that. Offer a buy back program.
Its called the Sashimono method of woodworking and this is a tourist trap. It's not even a recognized church within the Catholic religion. 100% for profit business attached to a hotel without any religious relationship.
@@Lakimbah wow, I didn't realize that. Good to know
That's amazing. ⛪
It sure is
Great looking hat. Please can you tell me what jacket you are wearing? Thank you
@@tab1990 the jacket is from a store in Hanoi, Vietnam called "The 1984". It's a clothes manufacturer who makes vintage style clothes.
It was also built without nails and it was crafted from a special tree that supposedly can only be found in Alaska. Now how does man in the 1800's get wood from Alaska to New Mexico? None of this makes any sense
@@real_Hamilton yes, I said 1 piece of wood, but I misunderstood when they said it was built from only wood. Just joints and pegs, no nails or screws. Pretty amazing.
Said 3 months in the other documentary which one is it
@@tingsgwan it could be 3. I heard 6 at the church. Maybe he was there for 6 and the staircase took 3 to build. Someone said he had to build it twice so possibly the first one broke and he had to do it again.
Does anyone use the staircase?
Yes, it's for the choir to reach the loft.
It looks like dna.

great looking hat

I believe you should always buy from someone who is local , works for themselves, has a passion for what they do , they care about their customers so i always care for them . Uts not just buying thrn its an experience that you will enjoy and si will they .
@@DavidHarrison-js3ji I couldn't agree more. They care about what they do and you keep the local economy running.
If i lived in America i would buy the best hat i coukd afford, put it on and never take it off again .
@@DavidHarrison-js3ji where do you live?
@@josephlearnstheworld England, trace my family back 800 plus years in the same area . I would swap that for what time I have left living in Texas so I can breathe,
@@DavidHarrison-js3ji what area is that? I can trace my family back to Devon in 1666, before that it gets a bit unclear.
6 months working there and nobody thought to ask the man his name?
Early on, before the hand rails & additional bracketing were added, it was so springy nuns & students went up & down it on their hands & knees.
@@scottpawlowski6927 wow, that's kinda funny, but definitely understandable.

Them indians are my moms people ... we live
@@Sabrina-01 Good, the man from that story is my great, great, great grandfather. We should get meet under that tree to bury the hatchet. Or we could have an improvised reenactment which would really give the locals a show!!

A single piece of wood? No. Not even close lol
