Hey Eli! Great video. Watched your recent recording on LI as well -- I'm sure you guys will get back on track, and those few clients will be happy again. My team has gone through the same issues as well, so it's only a matter of persistence and skills in conflict resolution 😁 One objection I might have about the service business a starting point is consistent client acquisition, and eventually -- extracting yourself as a root source of referrals out of the picture. Frankly -- that's the only bottleneck that keeps my team back sometimes. Our core source of projects (custom R&D for AI startups) is still my referrals (and it's been quite a few years). So I'd love to hear your suggestions as to how you'd go about addressing this challenge!

I have been thinking about starting a software dev agency focused in .NET software modernization. I am wondering if its too niche and I have no idea how to start. I dont know about contracts, who I market to, what to price things at, etc. I want to keep my full time job until things kick off too. Not sure if I should leverage my skillsets by hiring offshore developers to do 80% while I do the important 20% as far as the work goes.

I'm currently working as a software developer, but I'm also planning to start something like an agency (still deciding, going to start by testing several niches in about 1-2 months), so your content is very helpful for me When you're talking about "reverse engineering" - yeah, this idea resonates with me. It's similar to TDD (test-driven development) - when you start by writing tests and then think about how to actually write code that will pass the tests you've written. The same process actually applies for debugging code. And it's not surprising that the same idea works for running a business PS. Make your voice louder because it's like 40-50% quieter than on other channels PPS. Great content, like it! Your channel will grow into something big 🔥

Really liked video dude, I'm currently 19 trying to pursue copywritting. Wanna work delivery job to save up for a 5k dollars copywritting coach, there are some challanges. When you plan out how do you know how much time you need for a certain task what if it takes longer than you planned or if its shorter than planned do I do next tasks straight away, do you leave any breaks between tasks (15min for example), when identifying 5 things that are important for do you put lets say girlfirend, mother , brother-relashionship do you put these 3 into 1 (family lets say) or they take up 3 spaces out of those 5, because its kinda different. I'm having hard times making decisions and constantly overthinking stuff, but it will improve with time I think, thx for advices.

Some of my best lessons in sales came from a tough door to door sales job during the recession. Somethings you cannot learn from a video or a course. In the spirit of building in the open... the intro graphic is cool and all but I would rather you spend those few seconds giving me an elevator pitch of "Who you are and why I should care"

Thanks for sharing! That last hack really resonated with me. It makes sense and is probably what I need to focus on right now. Sometimes I find it hard to understand my own schedule and priorities, especially with different goals. I guess it's about simplifying and becoming more efficient over time.
