One of my better memories from the PS4 era. One of the best, even. Apart from a couple of idiotic reviewers who back then were already hyped on scoring some DEI points, the unfrotunate technical problems at release prevented this from getting love that it should have gotten. Reviewers should be mostly ignored if all they have is an agenda that they can look over, but this should show every developer that they better release their product in the perfect working order or this likely happens. It's been a must play for a while now though.

This game is so stupid and makes no sense. If the Rippers worship the Freakers and want to be Freakers why are there still Reapers left in that world?🤷 Yeah! The developers didn't think that through.😂 If they are obsessed with Freakers they shouldn't be evading them. They should just be walking up to them hoping to be bitten so they can turn. Even if that isn't what turns you they would assume that a bite or scratch would turn them so why are Rippers still a thing? It makes no sense. The game would have been much better if the only threat in the world was Freakers and marauders and it would have been more realistic if the survivors lived in underground bunkers like the survivors in Resistance 3 that kept out of sight and hid from the Chimera. This game has everything in its world trying to kill the protagonist whilst those same in-game threats are coexisting and cohabiting with each other.All of that makes the world unrealistic. The developers tried to do too much. The Last Of Us kept things simple. Spores or bites from the infected, infect people. Animals are fine. Survivors wear masks in areas where there are spores.The infected are still human and don't have superhuman speed or strength and can be melee attacked for the most part or dispatched of with fire. Even the biggest enemies the shamblers and bloaters have handicaps because they are visually impaired and can be outsmarted. The world of the last of us was far more plausible as was the idea of survivors being able to survive in it. Walking dead had 2 threats, the living that lost their humanity that would take from the weak and the zombies that were slow, which could not strategise but operated on instinct making them predictable and easy to handle in small numbers. Going to less populated areas gave people a good chance of survival just like with State of decay 2 and The Last Of Us but in Days gone even the birds, bears and wolves are infected making them even stronger, faster and more durable than their non infected counterparts. At least with I am Legend where the developers of Days Gone took most of their inspiration from, the night stalkers have a weakness and they are strictly nocturnal. Sunlight hurts them and you can hide your scent so they can't hunt you at night.

5 years old and still for me the best game ever

60 fps, compared to 30 on ps4 makes me dizzy and head hurt for long play.

Aye. Picked it up 4 cheap other day n a few hours into it, soooooo addictive. Great gameplay amazing world dripping with atmosphere and good intriguing story. It boggles the mind how it was abandoned and didn't kick off a new franchise, its that good it could rival TLOU, seriously.

It started on PS4 and switched to PS5. It's definitely been a great experience

I quiet the game After 1 h.. how Can you have patience to pick items.. its one hour for picking one single item and you do all that during the game .stupid choice with wasted Time.

Piss take that it never got the reviews it deserved when it came out, which meant no sequel - if a game ever deserved a sequel, it's Days Gone.

About 2 years ago i saw footage of the old saw mill horde and thought, "NO FUCKING WAY am i playing this game." That shit looked terrifying. Thankfully i got over that 2 months ago. I'm addicted to this game! Such a great game.

I definitely want to see a sequel where you may be going up against Venice or going to his father’s world or how the movie ended with rocket something like that or anything else I’m really interested in where they take it next time. I’m going to buy the game that’s how I love this game.

Man, I've played so so many good games in my lifetime but this sits right at the very top along with gems like god of war and final fantasy 16. Man we are lucky to have such good games

this game is amazing i love the songs i really want a sequel to this fantastic game now that peter quill became a father And I expect new enemies like: Ego,Ronan And the villains who were references in the archives of the Nova police force etc.. and the Hero Nova and who knows Beta Ray Bill and explore more planets like in the movies Saakar,Xandar and knowhere in the head of the celestial that was little explored And in the end of game cosmic Entities or Celestial Entities appear and who knows,even Galactus and Silver Surfer In the scenes after credits,imagine too A cameo by Howard the Duck and Also imagine the fantastic four game and the X-Men game would be Beautiful Owo I can't wait..
